To be clear, the Scottish League wasn't the nauseating part for me. I cannot stand Celtic.

WE ARE THE PEOPLE.

Celtic ready to bid £3million for Nagbe. Around $3.7m USD.

Im bumping this thread to further crap on Celtic which isn't fair to Nagbe because he wisely opted to stay in Portland (for now).

Naturally yanks belong in red, white and blue!

Nagbe is reportedly on the cusp of being traded to Atlanta for $750k in general allocation, $300k in targeted allocation and $500-600k in additional incentives.

And with all of that I still don't understand this for Portland.

Could be a good move for him. Atlanta has some serious talent & a very good coach. Since he's opted to stay in MLS this could be the best thing for him. A new coach, a new environment, and players to challenge him. Will hopefully bring out the best in him.

I'd like to see him go there just to see what it would look like. What would Tata do with him.

On the surface it looks like an odd fit. Atlanta's counter is so decisive and direct. Everyone in an attacking position is looking to shoot and finish...that isn't exactly Nagbe, who can bog down a bit when he begs off his own shot.

But I'm sure Tata will figure out a way to show everybody how they should have been using Nagae all along.
