Wooten scored again today

Yeah I saw that earlier, on a PK!

I forgot who said it on the other thread, but maybe he didn't impress in camp.

Either way, he should've seen some game time to evaluate him!

Another reason why I want Klinsmann gone!

While I would love to see Wooten too, please remember there is a difference between Club and International. We have no clue what Wooten looked like in Camp. He might have came in and just looked dreadful and nowhere close to ready. If that is the case then playing him against Brazil or Peru and him doing absolutely dreadful could be damaging to him and his confidence.
Remember one of JK's big things with Strikers is their confidence. If a player young like Wooten loses confidence, it's possible he never gets it back and he is essentially ruined for life. No way JK is going to risk that.

I'm not saying that is the case with Wooten, but it certainly is a big possibility. If Wooten looked like he was ready he would have played at least some. I'm certainly not going to call for JK's head because he didn't play a young striker. I applaud him for bringing him in to camp in the first place to evaluate him.

Oh no, I'm sure a guy in the 2nd Bundesliga would be the answer to all of our problems.

I am tired of constantly seeing Altidore start. give Arjo an extended run out. Give Wood or Morris an extended run at striker. hell bring Juan back(who is starting to gain form again). Besides the two goals against Peru that were meh, he wasn't exactly good in either game. His passing is poor, his runs are poor, his closing down is lackadaisical. I know Jozy can flip a switch all of the sudden and play well(he has always been this type of hot and cold player), so keep him on the bench, and have him sub in.
