Hope to see JAB on the Roster for the US as well.

I don't understand why Wooten is not starting for Sandhausen.

Cap-tie?

He has a better chance of going to the moon than playing for Germany

He can wait until the Gold Cup if he keeps playing well

Cap-tie? Too many people worrying about cap-tying everyone....if they continue to play well and perform and DESERVE a call-up, then sure, if they show in camp they deserve to get on the field, then play them. It's stupid to just call in kids to try to tie them down to playing for the US when they might not ever progress and become players well enough to play at the international level.

I was kinda being sarcastic but hoping he continues to raise his stock.

Call him to the gold cup? Wooten probably doesnt even know what that is along with 99% of America

Until MLS and their academies are producing homegrown talent, I will prefer dual national players. These guys are brought up in better systems and start earlier. Far from deserving a call-up, I was more impressed with alfredo morales vs canada than any other player. His passing was a lot faster than the other players.

The current cycle of players for the US national team aren't that good. We are relying too much on older players. We also have a Sh*T core of midfielders who have no possession skills.

Seriously, now that beasley scored a brace, he's back in conversation for the Nats ? WOW

His ability to play the wing makes him more valuable, I think, long term for the USMNT than Terrence Boyd.

Boyd and Wooten are both valuable. But I agree since Wooten can play on the wing he is probably more valuable. Should be interesting to see who gets the call-up in March.

It would be interesting, if Wooten goes back to Kaise next season, for Gyau to go to Sand in his place, and play on wing. St. Pauli is not working out.

2 goals today

Bad season for Sandhausen but a good one for Wooten who rejoins Kaiserslautern after this season

I hope he remains on the wing. For selfish reasons.
