This guy is scoring at an incredible pace for Kaiserslautern's U23 game.

8 straight games with a goal. Hat trick today.

Hopefully he can get serious minutes for the first team down the stretch. Their offense is the worst Bundesliga offense I have ever seen. 16 goals on the year through 25 games? That's awful.

Wooten is so hot right now - they need to go with him

As far as him in the US Soccer setup, I think he has a big advantage over the other up and coming strikers. Granted I've only seen one little highlight of him, he looks like a quick and shifty striker unlike the several target strikers we currently have. He could definitely thrive in a Charlie Davies type role if he continues to get better.

I've seen him. If I could compare him with another player it would be CJ Sapong. Good on the ball but with a lot of strength

Wooten is a beast.

But Kaiserslautern is far too bad for even the love-child of Messi, Ribery and Chuck Norris to save them.

The good thing is that he'll have an even better chance to be a starter when they are in the 2. Bundesliga next season!

Another forward injury (Wagner) for K'lautern, so there's a chance Wooten could start this weekend at Freiburg.

With all the hype on Terrence Boyd, it wouldn't surprise me if Wooten jumped over Boyd this year

The pieces are in place for both Wooten and Boyd to shine this season. This is their opportunity; the chance they've been waiting for. I'm certainly excited and will be keeping a close eye on both. I, too, wouldn't be surprised to see Wooten leapfrog Boyd but make no mistake, that doesn't mean Boyd will fall off the Nats radar. It just means Wooten will be introduced. Competition is never a bad thing.

Bingo..

Competition is a great thing. Prospects are prospects. Not all work out but the more you have, the more likely one or two will make it.

Between Kiesewetter, Boyd, Wooten, and Bijev in Europe, I'm confident 1-2 will have a successfull pro career.

Brian, I'm going balls out and will claim 3 of those 4 have nice, solid careers. Prospects like you said but these head the "attacking" list for me. Bijev, if he can pack on a little more muscle, is my outside/wildcard pick to be the most successful. Why? I can't put my finger on it. He just has something a like. I haven't seen him since he's been a pro but but I saw him play for Cal Odyssey in a tournament. He wasn't one or two classes above others, he was three. He played like a pro.

What's great about Bijev is that his instincts are great. He doesn't have the size or strength of the others, but he knows what to do.

It'll be an interesting battle for the US U-20 team as to who starts in central forward. Bijev or Kiesewetter. I think it's Kiesewetter right now, but that could change.

They both could start if Ramos plays a 4-4-2, but Ramos seems intent on the 4-3-3. So it'll likely be one or the other.

I think they will bounce right back into the Bundesliga, and he'll be a major part of it.

But you still got Boyd having more success than Wooten right?
