Thats really good news I would say its always a good thing to have an abundance of options. Although it is preseason so we have to air on the side of caution especially since davies last year was below average-average for most games. In my opinion he will have to put up some really good numbers to be called up again since I could see one of agudelo mcinerney or bruin start to get much more time with the national team. My money is on agudelo he is in great form right now and he will be moving to europe after this season. Hopefully he can find the right squad in europe because he is really starting to impress me with his play for New England.

The USMNT is still a little thin at striker. You have Altidore and EJ. After that you have Gomez and Boyd( who neither have capitalized much on their USMNT inclusions) then you have Agudelo, Wooten, Wood, and Mcinerney( all pretty much green.)

I think that's not a fair statement. Herc has done well in limited opportunities (and taking into account his talents/potential on the international level) and TBoyd is just as green as the other young strikers you named. It's Jozy's time now and once he started producing for the national team the way he did at AZ, they never really had a chance

Jack Mac for the future #2, Agudelo as future #3 as far as backups go in 2015/6.
