I honestly at this point don't care why Adu gets so much criticism, because frankly I'm sooooooo over talking about Adu. Everyone has given a decent explanation about what he is lacking, what he possesses, why people don't like him. Every single post. Its ALWAYS about Adu. Let's just..... NOT.

Bravo, considering every post your involved in turns into Adu. I'm glad you can turn anyones comment into some sort of sarcastic, condescending retort, but the fact is that you get on here and make every post about Adu. Yeah this post is about Adu, but the majority of other posts have been turned into Adu. The point is that you offer very little to any discussion, because you don't discuss anything. Let's just take a look at "argumentum ad hominem" on google. Welcome to reality.

Just did some digging...seems like there have been offers from a few MLS teams for Adu, and he/his agent have rejected them all. Doesn't seem to be anything happening on the Adu to TFC or any other MLS team front.

He probably thinks he's better off leaving MLS, which may be true if he's willing to go somewhere else, sit the bench, work is butt off in practice and earn minutes.

You were def right about Adu's agent rejecting all of those MLS bids what is the world is going on with that!!!

I don't think he wants to play MLS anymore. Either he thinks he's too good for MLS, which wouldn't surprise me, but is definitely not true at this point in his career, or he just feels that MLS style doesn't suit his style of play, which could also be true, as he is a creative No. 10 who continues to get played in other positions.

Maybe he's just waiting for the right situation, but I think Freddy is running out of opportunities. I understand that he's still pretty young, but even so, after a while you get a reputation that will not go away. Adu needs to get to work before his reputation ruins his career.

I think what would be best for him is to go to a league like Denmark or Austria. Put up some impressive stats, help a team qualify for Europe, and fix his reputation. Unfortunately he'd have to take a pay cut, and MLS probably wouldn't agree to any transfer fee, but I think that is what would be best for Freddy

MSantoine ewalcott your both right, its just so dam frustrating dammit lol! Hopefully in the next week or so we get some kind of news. Im just interesting in seeing what Zusi can do vs some real talent now. I"m one of the few who thinks he's super overrated but all we have at the moment. Tomorrow will be very interesting.

Alcharod. Im with you on Zusi. I can't picture him , EJ, or Herc playing meaningful minutes on a world cup team. Hopefully Shea or Gatt (or maybe one of the U20's like LLetget) develop enough to take over on of the spots.

EJ and Herc really!? Well i'm with you half way, I think if you put EJ out on the wing he is much much more effective then using him up top as a forward/striker. As for Herc, he's a good sub, I prefer boyd or Agudelo honestly over him, but Herc just seems to score or do something at the right time so I gotta have them both. EJ starting Herc starting or off the bench is fine with me.

I'm still worried about this match tomorrow, my boy says that beIN sports show the locker room has been bashing the hell out of klinsmann for his lying about tactics, and roster selection. I truly feel that if we come out of the first 3 games with 0-3 pts, he gets the axe. I'll take Arena all over again, A mexican or south american coach over JK. JK is in his own little world and does not seem like he will be waking up for it any time soon.

I truly see us struggling to the point we may not even make the WC, this roster is so suspect. Williams is trash, Evan really? Davis really? Torres AGAIN REALLY? I'm really starting to believe that the US GOV has done something to piss JK off and this is his way of getting us back or the 4 major sports has paid him off because soccer was going at them so hard here and they want soccer to lose interest lmao... I mean it's THAT BAD to me.

I could see us following Mexico's 2009 path. Under Sven-Goran (big foreign "name" coach) Need last day win to qualify for hex. Uses all veterans in beginning of hex over younger, more skilled options. Struggles, gets canned and Mexico brings in a coach willing to play youngsters and play a formation to suit the teams strengths. I only hope we can have the guts to follow that path

Im praying for Freddy to find some consistent club form anywhere because he's the most technically gifted and creative playmaker we have by far. We literally cant afford for him not to be on the field.

EJ, Gomez, Torres and Zusi are all average players and offer nothing against quality sides.

We need Holden to be match fit.

We need Shea to play for Stoke right now.

We need to get a look at Edu, Brooks, and Hines at CB right now.

Aguedelo and Boyd have to be on the roster.

Give Gyau a shot. There are no better wingers on the roster.

JK's actions and tactics are inconsistent, which is absolutely the most frustrating thing.

When people on here argue and say well he just started give it time...other nations with a World known soccer pedigree would do it in a heartbeat, why does our USMNT feel they are better then these teams and don't need this option? I hate hearing that we do not have the players in the pool or the tactics or the heart, we could honestly make a real run at a semi final, if we used the correct players. JK and the american system feel that the most important thing is a player that brown noses everything the coach says.

I made a petition (which no one signed by the way) to the USSF. I asked them to allow JK to hand pick a starting XI, and then let analyst and fans choose the other XI, then let him chose his subs and we do the same and broadcast it Nationally. I would put money that the team the analyst fans pick, could blow out a team consisting of MB and Dempsey.

I could see a team made of:

_______________Rimando_______________
S.Williams____John______Loyd______Sarkodie
__________Diskerud____Feilhaber_____
_________________Adu_______________
Agudelo_________Sapong___________Boyd

Giving the USMNT A-Squad a run for their money. These players are HUNGRY and will do anything to prove they belong and are faster, and more technical then the current A-Squad.

I like where your heads at but I wouldnt go that far. I think one of the main problems with American soccer is this myth about the international game. If you asked 20 coaches in europe who would you rather have as CB on your team right now Bocanegra or Brooks. I'm betting more pick Brooks. Never mind over Besler (who hasn't played since when, october, november). Same as Gyau, Gatt vs EJ or Zusi. Dempsey and Bradley would still play, as should Jones. I just think that you need to stop caring about sending messages to players and just bringing them in. Look at Christiano Ronaldo. Now Im not saying Jozy is anywhere near his level. But here is a player who was tearing up his club level and sucking lemons for Portugal. If that was us we would have been calling for him to not play. In soccer more than any other sport talent always wins out. I wish we would start playing our talented players over our loyal/crafty/experienced/any other superlative that just means veteran who does what I say. So frustrating
