Seen how poor Stoke play no wonder they want players like Shea and Agudelo on the field with more flair and creativity. I can definatelysee shea cracking Left Mid position as well as agudelo playing minutes

Shea isn't a creative player. The range of plays he makes are extremely predictable, it's not like he is spraying the ball around to spring players to goal. The passes he makes are basic and not inventive. The runs with the ball he makes are very predictable, usually just trying to bulldoze forward with speed and strength, sometimes taking care of the ball enough to beat his man, other times not.

Good news. Brek went a full 90 for the Stoke U21s.

Kind of like how MLB players coming back from injury play a few triple A games before going back to the majors . He won't stay there just working to get fit for the first team.

Maybe they were using the "U21" label in place of "reserve" ??

I think Breks best option will be to switch positions, I dont see him being able to play on the wing in a top league in the world. He has too many faults to his game, what he does well though is something that can be developed. I think he could be a quality LB or a good CF for a more direct team. Hopefully his game develops but I just dont know about his ability to play out wide in an advanced role.

He's more mercurial than I'd like, a lot of his ability depends on his confidence. I don't use the twitters or the faces book, so I can't speak to his mental state...but give him a few months and I'm sure he'll settle in a bit more and start to get that confidence back. I wouldn't be surprised to see him starting games before Boxing Day, and would even be willing to bet that we'll see him in any cup competition against lower league opposition.

Brek Shea doesn't deserve your attention at this point, if he starts to succeed, let it come to you, then watch. No need to follow someone playing in the reserves who is a professional in their 20's.

To be fair, it looked like he had all but locked up a starting spot prior to his injury. He'll be back in the picture soon. It isn't as if he got traded to Stoke to play for the reserves.
