i like that formation but not the personel... fabian is not a cm... put him back on defense. Williams backs uo Bradley at cdm... zelelem and nagbe in the midfield green and gyau on the wings altidore up top... if u really want speedy wingers anyway im sorrry i turned this back into a USMNT topic

Watched the video of Stoke/Gladbach. And boy I gotta say, it was great seeing Brek play like that again. When he's on, and has confidence, he is a game changer. Almost all of his passes were composed, not trying to do anything spectacular. But some great moments where he showcased his skills and speed, which should hopefully give Hughes something to think about.

If he gets playing time it could be a really good move. Just don't let him corrupt Packwood!

Yep it's true, and he is available for selection against Leeds this weekend.

He will get planet of playing time. I hope he plays well.

Still rate Shea even after being terrible for that last game Because he has shown those glimpses when he hasnt played much that he can be an excellent impact player. Right now he just need to build confidence and momentum

Good move to a team that needs wingers. He will deffiently get playing time hopefully this move works out very well for him. Agudelo your up to the plate im starting to wonder if he waits and moves back to mls because the news for him has dried up.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see NYCFC sign Agudelo. I think that will depend on what happens with the new CBA negotiations. I have heard that players are really going to press for free agency like how the NFL does it.

Just based on what we've seen wiht regards to skill and playing personality (not social, but style) Who here feels that Tommy Thompson might actually fit better for Klinsmann's vision than say Shea?

I do. But keep in mind Shea was pretty good in mls, players get exposed at higher levels. Same could easily happen to Thompson. Shea isn't done yet.

I thought Thompson was a central attacking mid, trying to compare Brek and Tommy is apples/oranges.

That said, I really like what I've seen from Thompson so far this season.

Brek Shea isnt half the player Thompson is. Shea isnt going to do a thing for BCFC. He'll be exposed in the first practice. The only good thing going for him is the rest of the team is the same way, strong, fast, physical but can hardly kick a ball. (those are words from actual BC supporters)

From the squad that played Czech Rep., i'd love to see Thompson in place of Bedoya. He's a player that needs to get out of MLS quickly. I've seen him play a couple times and its obvious his game is too good for the Quakes. A couple years of fine tuning in a better league and he'll be ready to go for Russia.
