Yes but there is a salary mimimum for non-EU players in the Eredivisie. It priced him out of most teams.

For a move still within Denmark, I'd say this was the best one he could make. Nordsjaelland play a nice style of attacking football, have a great track record for developing players, and are currently in a position to compete every year in either Champions or Europa League. And I expect he will be a starter, which wouldn't necessarily be the case with Copenhagen.

Plus, living in the Copenhagen-area is going to be far more interesting than living in a small village (Haderslev) in southern Denmark.

I like this move and its on a 2-year-deal as well. Conor needs to keep pushing himself and in 2 years he could be playing in a top 5 league and be a member of the USNT. I really was a bit stunned he was not called up for this January camp.

Good luck to the LI native.

Started and played 84 minutes in his Nordsjaelland debut - a 1-0 win

If he keeps up like that he bound for the usmnt sooner rather than later. Serious gold cup candidate. Never seen him play but if he can add a little bit of creativity to the midfield would be very helpful.

I've never seen him play, what kind of midfielder is he? Where would he play in the USMNT set up?

He's a deep lying, playmaking central midfield. He's not a defensive midfielder. He plays the game very similar in style to how Stu Holden plays the position
