There are multiple outlets stating that Lampard and the Galaxy have reached an agreement. The deal is as good as done.

If this is true, it is HUGE. You think they'll place him in a 2 CM fit with Juninho? Maybe the more attacking role?

Yeah I see him at the top of a diamond 4-4-2.

KAKA was never going to come to MLS this summer. He is back in Brasil's plans for WC 2014. KAKA won't come to MLS until after WC 2014. He will be what 32.

Frank Lampard's gross misconduct and actions towards American travelers stuck at the airport in London on 9/11 has to be brought forth and examined. He needs to be held accountable by Americans, and in particular New Yorkers. If he is to begin making long overdue real amends for his egregious behavior towards Americans during that national tragedy, he will need to do some serious philanthropy and charity work, especially given the kind of money he has been paid over the course of his career, as well as the kind of money he is being paid in MLS.

Meh, the conduct was egregious but he's apologized. It was almost 13 years ago. He doesn't owe anyone anything.

I think he also said he would visit the memorial. A nice picture of him in the memorial and this is all put behind us. Whether he did make fun of tourists or not (he has denied he did anything) it would bod well for the NYC residents.
So much publicity though from this and thats only a good thing for NYCFC

At least there was an article on ESPN where he was speaking positively about the league. He isn't coming across like Ashley Cole, Frank Ribery, Rafa Marquez or Lother Matthaus. I don't expect these guys to come here and talk about how the MLS is as competitive as the Premiership. That would be ridiculous but I absolutely expect them to take their job seriously and give everything they have to their MLS team. Beckham and Henry have been brilliant DPs, I hope these new big name signings follow in their footsteps.

Lampard is saying all of the right things. Look he was drunk. Everyone does stupid crap when they are drunk that they regret the next day.
I am not condoning his behavior, but everyone deserves to make things right. This is coming from a military vet who served after the Sept. 11th.
