Reports are coming out the Feilhaber and Beckerman got into a little heated exchange during practice. This does not bode well for Feilhaber going forward. Klinsmann hasn't particularly seemed like he is a fan of Feilhaber. I wouldn't be surprised if Feilhaber see's zero game time against Canada.

I have never particularly liked Feilhaber; I think he is to much of a head case that doesn't really mesh well with any team or teammates. He has talent, but with Holden getting healthy and Corona doing so well with Tijuana, and the continued emergence of Zusi, Gatt, Pontius, Shea, and Diskerud; my guess Feilhaber just doesn't fit into Klinsmann's plans for the USMNT going forward.

He may be on the Gold Cup team, but that is a big if.

Was Feilhaber the one who started it? Seems like you are putting all the blame on him.

Two guys in an already deep position causing trouble - wouldn't be surprised to see them both pushed out without any hesitation. However, with the point above, Feilhaber is the relative newcomer opposed to the Klinsy-favorite Beckerman. Unless, there's some specific details about either player, I'd still see Feilhaber gone. Then again, a "heated exchange" can be highly over-exaggerated too.

I am not putting it on Feilhaber. But that fact remains that Klinsmann is not really a Feilhaber fan. So it doesn't bode well for Feilhaber that he is butting heads with his teammates.

Klinsmann is big on locker room chemistry. If it comes down to which one doesn't see time on the field it will be Feilhaber. Beckerman is a Klinsmann guy.

This isn't the first time for Benny - He had problems in 2008 with the US U23 team.

Benny has always been a little fiery. Seen it plenty of times. I hear it was a shaky tackle by Becks, and Feilhaber def did not like it. I dont have a problem with it, Dont think JK will either, especially if Becks made the tackle out of frustration.

huhh no way i was there at the hdc practice field........ beckerman challenge him with a harsh tackle and benny got upset, and they started going at it screaming, pushing each other, until their teams mates had to separate them..... anyways it was beckermans fault and i would take benny over him any day....

These things happen on NFL training camps every year. For instance the Patriots had 2 or 3 dustups between players, no one got cut, and they are doing just fine. Usually these are no big deal and the media likes to blow them up when the team has no issues

Agreed - the media/people in general will hash all over the incident but not the probable make-up that occurred later on. In either case, I'm surprised to see Beckerman as the reason why it started - wonder if it was poor judgment or something anger-induced. Any light on this @admsghs27?

Sounds like two guys really wanting to compete for spots that are limited. Seems like exactly what Klinsman wants really.... If they didn't get after one another occasionally I'd question their desire.

@bear06 i been to 6 practices.... Beckerman gave benny a hard challenge and he got upset because it was just practice... They started pushing and arguing with each other... And teammates had to seperate them... But like i said benny is an attacking minded midfielder,, and beckerman is a box to box guy any which we have plenty off... Benny over kyle any day..... If i had a camera on me i would of post it... It was only like 20 sec long so is no big deal.... It happens in every sport worldwide all the time...

Given that there were murmurs of JK not liking Benny last year AND given that benny did NOT have a good '12 season, the fact that Benny was still called up shows that JK does genuinely see something in him. I like Benny as a player, I hope he can get the cognitive element under control and become effective & consistent.

In your opinion who are the players that are making an impression?
