I really love this guy, I hope he can get through this tough time and still have a quality career ahead for himself. If not, I hope to see a Jimmy Conrad-Stu Holden talk show one day.

Good news and lets hope he continues to get playing time. I will be happy if he starts getting minutes with the first team in March.

He will probably start getting first team minutes at the beginning of February.

IF things go well tonight and in the next few weeks, I see Stu making his first team debut(again) sometime within the first 2 weeks of Feb.

This report says he could see first min. action v. Sunderland in their FA Cup replay. Dont expect him to start, but gain a few minutes at the end of the game. BWFC need to be slow and take this as a process, one step at a time. I am sure they will handle him with care b/c his health and getting him 100% without rushing him is the goal here. No reason to rush him anyway.

He was wearing the captians armband; that shows you exactly how much Bolton think of him.

I guess various tweets were coming out that he looked really good, passed really well, and was bossing the midfield. I know it's a reserve game, but those are some very promising signs. No question about his fitness, but it's a matter of how well the knee holds up, and what his menatality will be like.

I know people wil get all crazy when I say this, but I would not be surprised to see Holden with the USMNT come the March qualifying games. Especailly if he has had a month and of half of first team games at Bolton.

I've been saying that since November...everyone at suckernet and Ussoccer thought I was crazy....I told them without a doubt by June though I though March. They said GC at best. People underestimate his ability to get back early.

On a further note. If Holden has an amazing second half of the season. Will bigger clubs across the EPL and Europe try to sign him? Should be noted that Holden is loyal to Bolton, but if he has a chance to go will he take it?
