I heard there was interest in Bedoya by Twente but no real move yet. I also heard Heereeven and Feyernood were interested as well as Dynamo Dresden and a French team.

Mario Rodriguez signs with Borussia Monchengladbach. That's a good move up.

With the transfer window closing what players are you keeping your eye on?

We obviously have the Bradley rumors about Sunderland potentially coming back with an improved bid but the players I haven't heard much about over the past few weeks that could be on the move are Maurice Edu and Oguchi Onyewu.

At the beginning of August there were rumors of a bunch of teams wanting to take Edu on loan. Goff was reporting that Gooch could be on the move a few weeks ago. Do you think either of these guys makes a move before the deadline?

Is there anybody else we should be discussing? I'd love to see Michael Parkhurst move to literally anywhere but I haven't seen any speculation that this may happen.

Oussama Assaidi signed on loan by Stoke, more competition for Shea on that left wing...

ESPN reporting that Stoke have agreed a fee with Bremen to bring in Aaron Hunt. Further competition for Brek.

You guys do realize that Brek can play as an inverted winger as well. Mark Hughes may even decide to use him as a striker.

Assaidi sucks anyways, he couldn't even break into a a bad Liverpool team last year so Shea will be fine

Shea plays a lot of position but I think the reason he hasn't really established himself as a star (by our standards) is that he hasn't quite mastered one. LW is obviously his best but while he has a lot of talent, mentally he just isn't there (that's why he's so inconsistent). I think a season on the wing in Europe would teach him a lot.

If Shea hadn't been injured he would have been starting and maybe doing really well. Then Hughes wouldn't have brought in replacements. F*** Matt Kessel. What an amateur.

Let's hope for the best. We desperately need more attacking midfielders.

He will be available, doubt he will start though. Most likely come off the bench, if he is picked for the game day squad.

"Brek trained fully this morning too, and hasn't felt any affects of the injury so he will come into consideration as well as Wilson." -via stoke city site.

Good news on the injury.

From ESPN's On The Move transfer blog: "Staying with Augsburg, the German club have been linked with a move for Cottbus attacker Boubacar Sanogo. Michael Parkhurst could be set to depart to make room."
