Beasley is staying at Puebla!

This is an ideal situation as he has been a major factor for them and it's important that he gets playing time in a World Cup year. I'm not sure how long the contract is for but even one year gets the job done from the MNT perspective.

Good. Maybe Puebla should start looking at him at LB!?!?

I cannot see Beasley as a LB for Puebla. They like to defend and then attack open spaces on the break. Beasley's speed on the Left Wing often sparks the attack. He's too valuable getting forward.

Word out of Tottenham is that they have some big signing coming in. From forwards, to play-makers, to outside mids... which puts Dempsey in an interesting spot. AVB has already stated Dempsey is up for sale if another team is willing to bid. I am not sure what is better, moving teams now to secure a starting role for a World Cup year, or staying and hoping to beat out all the new signings. From what I read out of Tottenham, the fans respect Dempsey's goals-from-nothing ability, but don't care for him as an overall player.

If Dempsey get sold where do you see him going? Any worries about PT on a World Cup year?

i think Dempsey showed he was a clutch player when Bale wasnt there. Saying that he wont have that respect just because he isnt English and worst to them American lol. I think its normal any player can be up for sell for the right price? if a team like Monoca wanted to buy lennon per say and offer a hefty load then he is gone. SO saying that its a normal in and out day with AVB saying dempsey could go for a good bid. One player that wont leave is bale thats assured

The only players linked are Paulinho who won't trouble his PT as he is a box to box MF, and the young duo of 17 year olds, one striker one CAM, neither will push him either. Talented youngsters but will only get cup games if they start at all.

Um, Bale will be sold if the price is right and he has his mind set on going. Player power is hard to ignore...if it is seen that he is being held up from his dream move by the club, it may negatively affect Spurs ability to attract top player in the future.

As for Deuce...? Moving now and taking time to settle may adversely affect his form. That being said, if he could link up with Jozy to form a partnership for club and country, that may be very good for the USMNT, but the odds of that happening are quite large.

Agreed, the chances of seeing Jozy and Duece together are slim, but the thought is pretty cool. Personally, I'd rather see either Bradley/Jozy or Mixx/Jozy together, with a mind to preparing for 2018.

There are rumors linking Bedoya to Twente in the Eredivisie. That would be a great move! I hope it happens.

According to Greg Seltzer-

Don't feel too bad that Twente aren't actually chasing Alejandro Bedoya - he's got two other Eredivisie clubs ringing up. At this point, it would be fair to say that Heerenveen stand slightly closer to the prize than F-Word. They have competition from France and Germany, though, but no standing offers from anywhere yet.

Bedoya did recently reject an offer to join Randers FC, while it also appears one of the two Champions League entrants showed some interest at one recent point.

More from Seltzer, about Altidore-

His agent has confirmed that of two EPL clubs interested, one of them has moved into deep talks. I can tell you that Sunderland is one of the two - but have not determined if they are the one ahead in the race.

Of those I previously outed as suitors, Lazio remain in and Schalke have dropped out. There is another Serie A club in the scene (and I think I know which one), plus perhaps a couple from the Bundesliga (but they are quickly getting priced out, it seems). Meanwhile, of the four teams that had offers rejected by Altidore, I can confirm Dinamo Kyiv was one. Zenit St. Petersburg showed interest, but it was never serious.

Good to hear, I saw he had a tryout with them a while back. Didn't think he would sign tho. He is a really good prospect going forward.

Jozy to sunderland would be a good move, they need a big target man..with fletcher injury prone. He would def get games.

Bedoya to twente..not sure about this one. It would def be a great step up, just comes down to him getting games...hope they sell Fer.

yep, personally I think this is the best bit of US Soccer news lately. I'm all for US players trying to get to Holland, especially young players.
