Spurs will get a ton from Real M for Bale. No need to transfer Demps. They will probably go a get a few young guns from South America.

They wont sell Bale he signed a new contract. As for Dempsey AVB would be stupid to sell him because he saved Spurs quiet a number of times. Not as much as Bale but a good amount that let it to the last day. If it wasnt for Duece scoring against United (getting 4 points) or even Europa League the top 4 spot would have been decided long before the last day. It only took one point. Personally Adebayor and Defoe I just dont see them as high producing players. Especially when they play the position they feel comfortable with unlike duece which played out of position this season. They is alot of Crap players in SPurs that have to be sold before they even think of selling Duece. I would start with Adebayor. I might add that Dempsey didnt even have a pre season he could have had a few more goals. Regardless here is the report from the mirror.
If this was Utd I would understand but Spurs need Clint and the fans might not admit but he clutched them enough to demonstrate that.

Clear out sale for Spurs.

Hey man any player can be replaced, although Dempsey is a good solid player David Villa is a way better player than Dempsey. Also he's younger so that's a huge benefit to AVB. The Hulk is also a awesome player as well, I just don't see Dempsey a key player at Tottenham. He should leave the league and head off to Spain or Italy.

He won't get to see any Champions League FootbAll in England... The top five teams of England are well equipped to need Dempsey. Even if he does stay he's a 20-30 minute substitute, especially of AVB gets some good quality forwards... Should have NEVER went to Tottenham

I'd love to see Ronaldinho in MLS. I do agree it would be a big mistake from a play point of view. Maybe a 1 year deal, sell a few jerseys, put butts in seats. He'd be freaking electric. Freddy who? But you guys know he'd be partying his ass of in LA. I partied with him about 13 years ago in LA. I think he was 18 at the time. In town for a Brazil vs. forget who at the Rose Bowl.

He'd run a few yards on offense, but that's about it. That would be quite a challenge for Bruce. He doesn't strike me as someone who would put up with that BS. Beckham was a good MLS player and you couldn't doubt his work ethic. And Keane is still playing for Ireland.

I think Dempsey did a big mistake in choosing Spurs over Arsenal, Right now he would be playing Champions with them. Sometime you have to think very hard and make the right choice but hey I think he did now he have to live with his choice. I Just hope if Spurs really want to sell him to sell him to Arsenal since they want it him or maybe Liverpool.

Wouldn't be suprised to see Demps leave - Siggurdson is a younger, equally capable player in that same position. Defoe is a legend at WHL and they won't just drop him casually. Adebayor is probably the only other questionable player - his overconfident, casual play cost Spurs in the Europa League (his penalty in the shootout was AWFUL). However, Adebayor is Adebayor - he still brings a lot to the table.

I guess it depends on Tottenham's cash flow in the upcoming window as well as who's leaving the club: Huddlestone's been rumored to want to leave but he solidified a place in the midfield late in the season. Granted, Sandro's been out injured so that may change. There are some other players rumored to want out so if the proper cash is generated, Demps may be a casualty. If so, let's hope he stays in the Premier League - man, if Fulham took him back and paired him with Berbatov, that'd be interesting to watch.

Yes curse Dempseys ambition!!! Why do we have players who want to push themselves?!? I think Dempseys gunna stay for at least one season. He's scored some goals and had some good games. Once he had an extended run with the team he started playing well. AVB seems to like him and he's versatile. I think they'll be dumping Gallas, Adebayor, BAE, maybe Huddleston, and maybe Parker. Dempsey also doesn't have a ton of resale value. I think they'll keep him.

again deuce did really well considering he had no pre season. That is big as thats where you get the rhythm and AVB sees how hard he works when he came to the team and learn everything from spurs as soon a possible. There is just to much crappy players in spurs that are just sucking up the wage and could sell very nicely. Idk aswell is it just me or is dembele a bit overrated? I see Holtby as a threat for Deuce but who knows what AVB is thinking.

He would have gotten PT this year, probably about the same but he would be coming off the bench for the most part next year if he had went to LFC.

I'm just sayin they finish at least above Everton if he's at LFC.. He's better than Downing..

But you're prolly right he may not have played much next year.. or he could have eliminated LFC's need for another attacker. Regardless I hope spurs keeps him

I think Spurs may keep him. Not for personnel or tactical reasons but for two main ones: 1) AVB seems to rate him. Simply likes the guy... Played, and especially started, way more than I thought. So he must do something at practice.
2) Financially it doesn't make sense. They can't get more than what they paid for him most likely. He's a good squad player, which a lot of the Spurs fans seem to think. Good value and no real reason to release.

Two different type of players. Downing is a much better two-way player, and a better fit defensively with the high press system BR incorporates. Dempsey is a short-term fix, with Liverpool's transfer policy now, they would have always bought another attacker.

agree ronaldinho at 50% is better than more than half of mls players.. That guy is playing ridiculus now, i bet he will be a front runner for mls player of the year.. Ill take him over sarvas in a heartbeat. a 4-3-3 easily mid of donovan, dinho, juninho, keane, villareal, magee/zardes/mcbean.. Galaxy are one playmaker away from a 3pt most likely.. Another player would be riquelme that guy is a wayyyy better than lampard.. Nut their both in libertadores so wont be leaving any time soon..

You're out of your mind dude. First of all, Lampard signed a contract extension with Chelsea and won't be going to the MLS anytime soon. Secondly, if Riquelme were better than Lamps, he would've been signed to a bigger club for the majority of his career - 7 seasons in La Liga (3 with Barca, 4 with Villereal) is a joke compared to Lampard's 12+ in the BPL. To suggest that Riquelme is 'wayyyy better than Lampard' is downright ridiculous. You might want to sit the next few out.

I'm anxious to see LA Galaxy's 3 DP

Ronaldinho or Kaka would be game over !!!

Kaka will be in the MLS sometime soonish (next winter or summer) but not this time around. Not only that, but he prob wont be in LA. Here is why:

~ Real Madrid is about to get a new coach, so Kaka will not leave now. More than likely, he will stay at the club and try his luck with the new manager to see if he can find a regular spot. If that doesnt work out, and he continues to ride the bench next season, then he will probably leave.

~ NY Red Bulls are clearly trying to make a move for Kaka. How is this? Well, his younger brother, Digao, plays for them. The reason this is interesting is because Digao is terrible. Literally awful. He has been at the club for 2 years now, he hasnt played for them, he isnt good enough to make their bench, and he doesnt even play in reserve games for the club. He sucks. In his first season, his salary was $40K. However, in his second season, his salary is over $200K. In the MLS, where teams are already strapped for cash, you dont pay a player that much money when he isnt good enough to play unless there is a reason. It would appear that the reason is to keep him around so that Kaka is more likely to make a move over there.

My guess is that the Galaxy are going to cave to the pressure that the US fanbase has been giving them about Omar Gonzalez and make him their 3rd DP. I dont think Gonzalez is good enough for that yet, but if he ends up getting a lot of minutes with the USMNT this summer and does well, then the Galaxy are probably gonna do it.
