Bjelks...well it's kind of hard to read sarcasm over text. Like Shredder said, a few on your list are still playing for their clubs. Boss doesn't deserve a call-up...let him play through a couple of months once the MLS starts to see otherwise. Honestly don't see how you think Gyau is that much better...both have a ways to go though, but nice to have on the roster for a change of pace depending if you need to change the tempo of a game. I complain about Beckerman but don't compare him with Adu...they play two TOTALLY different positions and roles within his system. Also, over half of these players won't see the field in WCQs much less the WC. JK has done very well so far no need in calling for the tar and feathers yet.

yes your right they are two TOTALLY different players. JK wants better ball control in the final third with creativity and speed. Why are Holding and Defensive Mids dominating with JK, when his objective is total opposite?

I don't see holding mids or defensive mids dominating any roster....the most I've seen played was two, and the most I've seen on a roster has been 3 off the top of my head. As far as Beckerman goes, or whoever plays the 6, in JK's system their job isn't to be in the final third....their job is to man the center of the pitch and provide cover for the CBs that spread out to the the outside backs pushing into the attack. Sure, he wants more creativity and speed in the 10 spot and in the 3 forward positions but they also have to track back and press as a unit. Maybe he doesn't see players that have the whole package so in turn, he plays what he believes is his best players even if some might be out of position or the 11 looks too defensive to some.

So who is the biggest January camp snub? I'll vote for Steve Clark.

Has to be Conor Obrien. Can't believe that.

I dont care what position Beckerman plays. I just want him to be better than the players that arent getting picked and we all know that he isnt. It's not rocket science.

Morales hasnt played for his club, so why does he deserve a spot over Gale? I'll wait. My problem is there is no consistency.

If JK's system doesnt fit the pool he has, then maybe he needs to change it and just focus on getting the best players in. Spain doesnt win because they try the hardest or theyre the fittest. They win because they're the most talented.

JK isnt doing a fairly good job. We've beaten world powers Brazil, Argentina, Germany, and Spain in tournaments, we've dominated qualification, and we've appeared in WC quarterfinals before JK's campaign began.

He preaches creative, attacking football and implements conservative defensive bunkering tactics on the pitch. It's confusing and frustrating.

As far as 3 defensive mids, he played 3 defensive mids against Jamaica in one of our poorest performances ever. I dont what to hear about Bradley being box to box, his attributes best suit defense. You've never seen him beat someone with dribble.

I recall an interview with Conor O'Brien where he mentioned that throughout his career he has been underrated and how he has consistently beaten people's expectations. Well, unfortunately, it's going to continue w/ Klinsmann in early 2013.

bshredder has all of the people who I think have got snubbed as well. Still happy with who got picked as only a few players will actually play in the WCQ game. Still it would have been nice to see one of those guys you listed impress JK in camp. I guess they will have to impress in season.

It does seem odd to call up Gyau last camp, but not on this one.....what was the point of the last call up? If anything that last camp should have been harder to be called into then this one...

St. Pauli has three friendlies scheduled beginning January 20th with a league game scheduled for February 3rd. I would have been surprised to see Gyau included in the camp.

Love the "experts" here. Yes some players didn't get called over others when they probably should have but remember jk and co know things you don't (injuries, club commitments, etc). Sure I agree players like Buddle, wondo and even EJ, oh and Beckerman, normally shouldn't be there but first WCQ is early Feb. and if jk plans on using any of them they need to be in form because MLS is not in season right now! And stop with the "where is Adu" talk. Yes he's skilled but he's undisiplined and has been EVERYWHERE he went. Jozy, same way but he got the message and look at him now, thank you ernnie stewart! until Adu gets his attitude ajusted he'll just be a "could-have-been" And he could be an asset! I will say I did want to see O'brian but Gold Cup is coming.

I wasn't acting like an "expert" on players abilities and what makes a good or not so good international player. Yes I gave my "opinion" about Adu. All the stuff I said is "common knowledge"! Give this group a chance before you write them off!

I'm so glad you did all the typing for me lol. Its nice to know there are other people on here with some sense. When Adu can either play consistently at a high level or change his attitude I think he'll get a look but you can't have both of those against you. This camp is about more than one thing everybody. Jk is looking at people that we can play as backups that are proven players, even if I don't think they are that great ( beckerman, wondo, buddle). And yes they are proven MlS players. I mean I like some of the kids that missed out as much as the next person but you have 1 very important game around the corner and not much time to get some of the semi-established guys ready for it that aren't in season. Then there are the younger guys who are going to be pushing for spots during the hex (I think anyway (Gonzo, Gatt, Diskerud). Then the players that are on the fringes and or just being called in to experience a international camp. As the other guy said we don't know who couldn't make it that they might have wanted to call in so ill reserve my baby crying for a later date.
