Here is my list of possible new players that emerge in 2013 into 2014.

GK: Steve Clark
Defense: Sheanon Williams, Brooks, Hines, Morrow, Sarkodie
CM: O'Brien, Kitchen, Lletget, Holden( Remember he has never played for Klinsmann, so it's like he is new).
AM's: DeLeon, Pontius, Cobi Span, Cascio, Gil
FWDS: Zardes, Bruin, Villarreal, Wood

I think most of these players have the skill to possible break into the USMNT before WC 2014. A lot of these players will be on the 2013 Gold Cup team minus the few U-20 players if they qualify for the U-20 WC.

I don't know if this will happen, but the two players that I would like to see emerge at the club level and national side are Brooks and gatt. It is important for the usmnt to have a world class defender and I think brooks could become that defender given that he is a starter at only 19 and has the size speed and passing abilities to be a world class defender. hopefully by next season he will be a starter back in the 1 bundesliga. If he puts in a good year as a starter in the 1 bundesliga he is probably going to start getting offers from much bigger clubs like bayern Munich. In the case of gatt, I really would like to see him emerge and start becoming who could possibly become a replacement for Donovan. Donovan keeps talking about retirement and not having the passion for the game anymore. we need a replacement for him now to be on deck just in case Donovan is really serious about hanging his cleats.

Brooks has already turned down Bayern Munich. They tried to sign him last year.

Gatt shows promise, but he isn't the only talented AM/winger in the pool.

Hines hasn't made the gameday lineup the past few games. Any word of injury or just out of favor?

Spector has already played for Klinsmann. Adu was called into Klinsmanns first camp as USMNT coach. I don't think Bedoya is in his plans. And it remains to be seen if Lichaj is in his plans as well.
