Well whats the point if it's not a trial? Mybe to get hi sface in the door at West Ham? Possibly, but my guess it's more of a trial than a trainign stint.

I agree. I think there may be more than a training stint going on at West Ham. I think Zusi would be a nice fit and could contribute to the team. We'll see how it goes. Hopefully in a few weeks we will be reading about Zusi impressing West Ham staff.

It's a far shot but Davies will be flying into Miami Sunday...can't help but wonder if he's continuing on to LA...

I saw someone say that Bedoya is going to be involved in this camp. Does that mean he has already sorted his club situation out? I know his contract was set to expire with Helsingborgs. Anyone have any insight?

Maybe he's using this as a bit of a tryout for teams but that seems stupid seeing as the deadline is on 31 and the friendly is on the 29th. I'd guess he's staying with Helsingborg just becaus I've heard nothing and he's going to a camp when he would be making a transition to a new club if he was moving.

Why so much hate for the Morales call up? Yes i know he has not been playing, maybe the reason behind the callup is he may be talented and have a bright future. Also i thought the January camp was to look at players who would'nt normally be called up.
Yes I know some are arguing he may take the place of Kitchen, maybe Klinman doesnt value him as high as you believe he is, or may not be ready for international football.
Remember Morales is still young (22). Id rather have him then Beckerman in camp

Bedoya could be signing with champs Elfsborg...very similar situation to staying at Helsingborg. Wouldn't interfere with camp much. Just a thought.

Gatt tweeted that he'd be in FL then CA. I would say that likely means he's in. Not a real shocker.

I guess that the number of players has increased for this January Camp. Supposedly it's going to be close to 30 players. My guess it will be 28. Tune into Fox Soccer Goals on Sunday at 1 pm ET; Klinsmann will be releasing the roster at that time.

Kitchen sucks, who would want a MLS defensive midfielder to control the game? Do you guys think a player from MLS can break up plays from a top creative midfielder? Seriously... If he's so good why isn't he playing in Europe? I'd take Morales any day of the week! At least he's playing against better players even on the reserve team... Defensive players need to be able to read the game, have quick pace, and be positioned well throughout the midfield. He's just not impressive.
