The "Camp Cupcake" term is annoying and calling donovan "landycakes" is also annoying.
Whats even more annoying is the Gold Cup tournament. Please for the love of god have a 20 team tournament to rival the Euro's

Who can tell me something about sheanon williams? If i am not mistaking, he has been part of almost every youth national team from the u 17 to u23. Is he really good enough to be called up to a usmnt camp?

Hmm. I think he has some traits that are very appealing. He can play both RB and LB. He has enough speed to recover if beaten, he is still relatively young for a defender, and for the most part plays sound defense. Negative traits- Relies to much on his athleticism, and his distribution and passing is sub par. But he warrants a call-up to the january camp.

How about TFC's Luis Silva who had a very solid rookie year? I'd like to see him make the team.

Isn't the 2 Bundesliga have an extended winter break could we see some guys like Brooks, Gyau, and Morales (tho probably not seeing as he hasn't gotten playing time). Also could we see Boyd or is he already established and this will be used to try out some younger guys?

It's a big mystery to me why Silva's name is never floated for Camp Cupcake consideration. Maybe he suffers from underexposure because TFC was so rotten in 2012.

Bundesliga 2 starts up at the beginning of February. In no way would any Bundesliga 2 teams be willing to part with their players for a few weeks in January. I think training with a club team is more important than training with the USMNT B team in January.

Brek Shea- Not quite sure if I believe this one. Shea is still rehabbing from surgery, and last I heard won't be ready to train agian until early February. But Klinsmann may still bring him in just to keep him apart of the USMNT. He did that with Holden as well.
The rest of these names seem more than a sure bet though.
