Union Betlin made the best offer and pitch to Bobby and 1860 Munich. Ingolstadt and Stuttgart didn't match Unions offer.

Union Berlin has some seriously dedicated fans. He'll like it there. Don't forget that despite his awful start in MLS, NYCFC struggler Adam Nemec had a couple of decent seasons with Union Berlin. I'd expect Bobby to get lots of opportunities.

The 2. Bundesliga started this weekend and Bobby started and played 61 minutes in Union's draw with Fortuna Duesseldorf.

Kicker rates player performance on a 1-6 scale with 1 being great and 6 being atrocious. They gave Bobby a 4.5, the worst score out of any starter for either team.

I haven't read anything about why they gave him that rating but hopefully he gets another start this weekend to redeem himself.

He had a shot ring off of the post. And almost set up another. I don't read much into subjective player ratings.

Creating goal scoring opportunities is just as important as scoring goals yourself. I know he didn't get a good rating for his last performance. Like 2tone said I don't put much stock in subjective ratings, just looks at how many differences of opinion there are anytime the national team plays. I would be interested in how the same person rates him after today's game.

Good for Wood. Hopefully he gets a look or even start in Sept. He's earned it in my book.

I think Wooten will get a call in September especially if he keeps playing like this and our current pool of forwards keep slacking.

I would hope JK is hard on Wood and makes Wood work to keep his spot. Wood has to be more consistent for his club to keep getting called into camps.
