I'm perfectly happy with perplexing decisions by JK when they involve potentially promising forwards. Bring whoever you want out of the woodwork and see what happens.

I'm firmly behind more appearances by Wood, calling up Wooten, bringing in any random guy who might be a goalscorer to see what shakes out. And actually giving them a chance. I'm fairly excited by our young crop of potential goalscorers (wood, wooten, ibarra, zardes, aj, rubin, boyd, gyau), and I'd be happy to see guys like Davies even get a shot.

I don't rate Jozy and Dempsey has about a year or two left in him, sadly, so the more the merrier - find out what works.

I agree, I think we learned that Wood currently needs to improve his first touch and his finishing before he would get regular call ups. He is still pretty young and he has time to still develop those skills. Keep them coming.

Wow talk about the influence Wood has been on FC Erzgebirge Aue. They are 4-2 when he starts. They just jumped the team, 1860 Munich, that let Wood go. They are now out of the automatic relegation zone. With three games to go they could knock his old club out of the Bundesliga 2.

He has three goals in those six games. One less goal than the team leader. The team only had four wins total before Wood got there.

The funny thing is, is that now 1860 Munich want to bring Wood back.

Happy for Wood. Hopefully he gives himself a nice long career in 2.bundes, or bottom table bundes, or austrian league, or MLS. I think he's the kind of guy who can play until hes in his 30s. However at the moment I dont want him anywhere near US teams. He showed he isnt quite ready or good enough yet. Maybe in 3 years or so he can be a solid backup but right now Id rather see other guys.

So I've been going through the German websites right now and I guess according to 1860 Munich, Kaiserslaurtern are trying to swoop Bobby Wood up as of today. It sounds as if it's already a done deal. 1860 want 500,000 for him but Kaiserslaurtern are trying to knock it down. Thus all went down before the Holland match. I think Bobby helped himself out today. We shall see.

That would be a good moves to me. They just missed promotion and I'm guessing them and red bull will be the two favorites. They should control the ball most games letting him put up some nice goal totals if he gets minutes.

Anything is better than the German third division. Kaiserslautern will be in the promotion hunt next season.

as long as he is getting minutes so he can continue to work on his scoring touch. Very talented and still young heck he can be in the running for olympics? he is 22 or does he barely miss out?

He's very talented. Harnessing that talent seemed to start once he moved to Erze. Klautern would be a good move for him if they're fighting for promotion

I was looking at several sites that have player ratings and most had wood at 6 or 7 i think only mls gave him an 8. As for Zardes most were 7's and a few 8's. Also Brooks got high Ratings in most but MLS gave him a low score. Morris and Yedlin also had high scores. Other than the goal i thought wood had an OK game. I expect Zardes to start the next game he looked dangerous and better than Aron. The only changes i think JK makes would be Yedlin and williams for Chandler, and Morales. Also Surprisingly Beckerman had really good ratings on all the Sites and of Course Bradley was POTM in all of them even had a few 10's.

Eintracht Braunschweig have also joined in on the hunt for Bobby. I think making that move to Aue was the best thing he could have done. We can thank Jurgen Klinsman for that.

Theyd be a good fit. They have some young forwards out on loan and in on load so pending their statuses could be some good opportunities. Also their captain, 35 year old forward, is retiring so his spot will open up

So reading the 'rumors' I seeing all 2. Bundesliga teams. Why not 1. Bundesliga teams. He scored against Germany and Holland ffs. I am sure with the quality of service from 1. Bundesliga quality players and if he remains healthy, he would do pretty well. But he would have to get with a club with a stable situation, comfortably mid-table and with a coaching situation that isn't rocky. The kid has all the talent but he just needs to be in the right situation. But if he must prove himself first in the 2. Bundesliga, so be it. But I would really like to see him plying his trade in the 1. Bundesliga.
