Creating goal scoring opportunities is just as important as scoring goals yourself. I know he didn't get a good rating for his last performance. Like 2tone said I don't put much stock in subjective ratings, just looks at how many differences of opinion there are anytime the national team plays. I would be interested in how the same person rates him after today's game.

They gave him a 3. That's pretty good. They gave Wooten a 2 which was the highest rating anybody received and the highest on Sandhausen albeit they also gave three Union players a 2.

Wood scored the game tying goal against 'Slautern today. Both him an Wooten are in good form.

Well, at the time it was the go-ahead goal. They just fucked the puppy at the end and got a draw out of it.

Good to see him on the scoresheet. Even better to just see him starting consistently.

Bobby on the score sheet today for Union. He had a really nice solo goal. Picked the ball up just after the halfway line, beat a couple of defenders, fell down just outside the 18 got back up and slotted the ball past the GK.

Maybe Klinsmann will put him in the midfield again and watch him struggle.

Tied for third top scorer in the Bundesliga 2. He would have 10 plus goals if he didn't hit the post or crossbar so much in the past 2 months.

Top USA striker at the moment for me. I like his pairing with Jozy up top for the qualifiers unless we see something special during the January camp from other players.

Needs to start at striker not Winger or none of this crazy experimentation. The guy has a striker brain and instincts

I thought Bobby was reason #487 not to like JK.

What's up with all the positive posts about Bobby Wood lately?

I have always been pro Bobby Wood. As usual some fans have zero ability to actually evaluate young players.

They watch said young player once and if that player isn't Messi right out of the gate then they state the most absurd things.

It's happening right now with Yedlin, Green, and others.

ditto from day 1 wood showed he had the ability to put himself in excellent positions. Like against Ecuador he just couldnt convert. You cant teach positioning its more natural what he did was improve his finishing a hell of a lot and now he is a beast.

Are people really freaking out about yedlin? He playing prem football at 22 how many american can say that they did that?

Personally Green need minutes to just get going and at bayern he wont get it at least not atm. Just like wood i think green should go to 2nd division to play and learn and get more physical

100% Agree, I am hoping it is a learning experience for those US fans.
