From Yanksabroad twitter: Adam Henley was invited to the U.S. U-20 camp, and was considering accepting before Blackburn nixed it. Definitely a story to keep an eye on

How long does the process take to file the one time switch? If these guys were to file in time to play for official matches (most likely gold cup) how early would they have to file. And is there a good chance it gets "leaked" ahead of time?

The process takes around 2 months and it's usually public knowledge that the switch has been filed. Both federations have to know.
If Henley switches, it'll be for the U20 WC and not the GC. (both would be permanently captying since he would have to use switch)

Good to hear that Henley is more than interested in repping the Stars and Stripes. Immediatley upgrades RB for the U-20's.

He is strongly considering it right now.

Thats good news because when I looked it up, it just said he signed a contract to 2017.
Also, Isn't this year's "Gold Cup" a non cap-tyeing tournament ????
I thought FIFA only recognizes the Gold Cup that sends you to the Conferderations Cup!

The Gold Cup is always cap-tying.
Any regional tournament for senior national teams is cap-tying.
