I think JK has this anyways if he accepts to come and train our boys will make him feel at home. Best difference between USMNT and other National teams. Usually thats the case that why i wish Green would have gone to train but owell soon

It's on US soccer website. They make it known what teams are getting scouted by US coaches in Europe/Mexico.

The closer the WC gets the harder it might be for Parker to stay in the German Youth setup. I'm sure he is keeping all his options open, but the chance to play in a WC or wait it out 2 more years and hope to make the German senior team, he might cut his loses and and settle for the USMNT. Purely speculation though.

Parker would never break trough with usa. He is way behind on the pool depth. He will be like Danny Williams. Fighting for a call up. Hasn't done much this year and hasn't gotten much playing time also. Ill take EJ over him.

Totally. Parker is 24, made only 7 appearances this season, and hasn't scored a goal. AND he's playing in the English SECOND DIVISION. Meanwhile Williams is 20, appeared 4 times and scored a goal, and is playing on a team in arguably the best league in the world.

OH WAIT THATS TOTALLY BACKWARDS.

Stop talking nonsense.

Dude your an idiot if you think he could just walk on and play instantly. Williams was playing in hoffenheim best league in the world and was getting called on and off. I know he is a young player and would be a great addition but even if he was committed to USA he wouldn't even be a top 6 fwd for usa. he is a prospect for 2018, and even then is not a guarantee.

You would seriously rate EJ over Parker? I'll take an up-and-coming Bundesliga star over Mr. Crossover Dribble any day of the week.

EJ has proven himself club wise, and specially MNT wise so yes he has been proving it. And i care more about what a player does with the mnt than with their club. Ex. Altidore. And Parker hast done much with his club not even a regular starter, and i hope your joking by upcoming bundesliga Star, cause you would seriously need some researching.

Yes all your sources are overrated. I could post over 100 upcoming American stars. But i wont waste my time on that. If you think he is an upcoming star in Germany then fine, He is 20 yrs old Right ? Look at the Germany roster right now, and almost every single player were already considered stars at 17,18,19, specially 20 and playing first team soccer, shining in champs league, internationally and being considered top young players in Europe. I don't think Parker started 34 games and played 90mins in almost every single game at 18,19 ? Most players in Germany's roster did in put up very impressive numbers. So don't come with your B.S on some 20 yr old that barely gets playing on a sub par team. If he could score 10 goals 5 assist at least this yr then i will be somewhat excited.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. I for one think if Parker switched to the US he would have a very good chance at making the WC team. If he continues to see minutes for Mainz that is.

He can play a position of need for the USMNT i.e. winger. Do I think it's a long shot he makes the switch? yes. But, there are a whole bunch of winger/wide attacking mid types for Germany that are set for the next 10 years. He has a very long road to make it on to Germany's roster. Where as the USMNT he has a much easier road ahead of him.

Do we really believe Donovan and Dempsey can carry this USMNT one more time in a WC? I have my doubts. I really like Zusi, but is he really a game changer in a WC? I have my doubts about that. Bedoya is good, but not exactly a game changer either.

Winger IMO is a trouble area. Fabian, Donovan, Bedoya, and Zusi who all seem to be the most likely candidates for the winger positions; aren't exactly winger types. Shea can't get it together. Arriola may be to raw, Zardes still has some learning to do at the position, and Yedlin may be to raw as well. EJ is not a winger either. Gatt is injured, and is way on the outside looking in once he is healthy and playing again in March. Brad Davis doesn't have the speed or engine to cover ground at that high of a level.

Everyone's lock at one of the winger positions is Donovan. But from I have seen from Donovan this year is that he has lost a step, and he has become increasingly unwilling to take players on because he knows he has lost a step. Plus he hasn't looked good on the wing IMO, and looks more comfortable in the position that Dempsey seems to have locked down for the Nats. Donovan's performances for the USMNT in qualifying at LW was average. He looks so much better when he is coming inside. For the past two years Donovan has got used to playing as a striker/withdrawn FWD. Once he goes out to the wing you can tell he doesn't look entirely comfortable.

Parker has seen most of his time last year and this year at winger, so I get why some people would get excited about him, and the prospect of him switching to the US.

Not giving up on this guy to potentially switch to US setup prior to summer. Lure of a World Cup in which he could get big playing time as a winger....
