What might have been if not for the injuries earlier in his career?
When he was young, he had it all. He should and could have been the starting central defender at the 2006 and 2010 World Cups.
His injuries were every bit as tough on the US team as Holden and O'Brien.
Still, I wish him the best in his post playing career. I hope he can stay involved with the game - maybe as a coach
