What's the latest on his development? I haven't heard about him in some time.

Playing extremely well with Liverpool's U21s...moved around a good bit from LB, LW, and occasionally in the CM. Scored a few goals and has had quite a few assists.

Very nice, is he hoping to go on loan to get first team minutes somewhere?

Marc signs a long term extension with Liverpool today. He is a highly regarded with the coaching staff at Liverpool.

I am sure USnLFCfan can give us more on the details of Pelosi's timeline from his injury, or if he has been playing again.

But it's good to see Liverpool tying themselves to Pelosi for the long term.

Congrats Marc.

Pretty excited. He deserves a new contract with his play before the injury. He was one of the better/consistent players with the U21s.

As far as where he is at with his comeback. He was weight-bearing and running in Sept, and he has been slowly progressing. He has been a cpl of months ahead of schedule, they were thinking early on that best case was coming back into light training at the end of December, but he was in light training towards the end of October. He still has not resumed training with the team but it looks like he will be before Christmas. They have said that they will be taking their time....which is a good thing for everyone.

Good news to hear, saw his extension on twitter earlier. Hope he regains his pre injury form.

Some players just have a career of bad luck injuries that are flukes, not their fault, that keep repeating themselves. Statistically speaking there are going to be players like this. I am just hoping Pelosi isn't one of them (like Holden is).

It was one injury....and it was a De Jong type tackle in stoppage time when Liverpool was up 3-1...completely pointless and completely rash. You don't get many of those tackles. He will be fine.

I've always pulled hard for Pelosi. He's the guy I'm most excited about. I remember watching him play before he was captain of the U17s...the announcers were raving about Guido megging someone and I'm thinking to myself, yeah, thats great fellas, but who is this guy, making great quick decisions every time he touches the ball and making it happen for everyone around him. Mentally he was so far beyond the others. That is the thing I'm most excited about Pelosi, between the ears, he's already better than half the guys on the nats. He reads the game as well as anyone we have.

I'm very happy to hear that Liverpool is taking very good care of him. Wishing him the best as he makes his way back.
