@blaise- the worst guy out there was Johnny soccer and I didn't think I would be saying that. He killed numerous attacks for the already subpar 3rd and 4th choice players. I thought with his "pedigree" he would boss the game but looked out of ideas, slow to react, and not having enough quality. I hope it's the fact that this is still a new team and his teammates aren't that good. But people have been hyping Cardoso and boy did he look awful in comparison to Dotson or Djordje who were only average.

Embarrassing display of soccer.... Almost all of these players are a by-product of MLS and their lack of quality shows. I don't think any of these players should be close to the full national team..

Probably won't even watch the semi final game on Sunday.. Boring bad soccer all around.

Tomorrow is the game to watch..

Funny how the Euro guys always get a pass when they play poorly. If the team plays poorly and MLS guys are involved this kinda post always seems to crop up. If MLS is such poor quality why do players like Dike and Aaronson just to name a couple go to Europe and have no problem. Personally I think it's the coach, not the players.

Johnny's touch must be an American birth right.

He is really loose with the ball for someone who grew up playing in Brazil. He's at the bottom of the pecking order, imo on this team.

I think we'll see Perea as the 6 behind Yueill and Dotson as the 8s in the semi.

FIFA investigating Mexican fans chant versus Dominican Republic. If found guilty they may have to forfeit the match which would mean the US would be the group winners.

I would rather play Honduras than Canada. I think both are winnable but glad we play Honduras, Canada know us too well.

Dotson looked like he messed his ankle up. Type of injury you can finish a game with but then it's 2-3 weeks out. I'd be surprised to see him. I expect a midfield of Perea with Yueill and Djordje in front, Lewis and Saucedo on the wings. Ferreira up top. Vines, Pineda, Glad, Herrera. And of course the top player from this team to me, Ochoa, in goal. He gives me supreme co Gide me that if all else fails we have David Ochoa. Leader, winner, good technically, I think he can go to the top.

Dotson is playing, he's been solid. It'll be a battle and Honduras has screwed us before in this exact same scenario. Best effort is needed today!

Didn't even know the game was on

Down 1-0 - Typical MLS national team players.... US Soccer just doesn't get it

On evidence of 3.5 games so far, I am officially calling it...no olympics. I wish I was wrong, but this team is clueless on how to break down an opponent.

To sum it up in one word...naive.

Yikes. Well Kres didn't pick enough horses. Ebobissie should have been on this team.

Looks like the Gold Cup will have all of our best players.

There should be 0 players on the U23 team in consideration for the USMNT......

Stick with the new formula... Pick the US players who are in Europe and recruit dual nationals.

MLS is a joke of a league

3rd time in a row I have seen a U23 team play like the opposition is just going to roll over for them in a knock out game. It's poor preparation from the coaching staff. You need to develop stronger players.

Pomykal was available
Ebobissie should have been selected

Llanez getting injured before the tournament really hurt.

Not much more to say.

Try again in 3 years.
