Qualifying is in March this is the pool of players Jason Kreis will choose from. Not sure if they still have the funky roster rules or not.

Even if the Euro guys do not play. The team is strong enough to qualify, some good players on the list.

Whats interesting is that this overlaps with the FIFA windows... so I'm pretty sure the clubs have to release the players during the dates of qualifying.

I would have thought that Aaronson, Llanez, Cardoso and Soto would have been with the senior team for the friendlies given previous roster selections. That being said, Berhalter has probably seen what he needs to see, and since they are on this list, I fully expect them to be with the Olympic team and not be in the senior camp next month.

There is no way that Berhalter didn't give this a thumbs up. That opens up a ST, wing, and two CM spots for the March friendlies. Maybe Green gets the call? Maybe Otasowie and/or Morales?

I would think Hoppe and Sargent are locks at ST. Depending on where/how Berhalter sees Weah, maybe he is a ST. I doubt Novakovich gets a call, but I can see Johannsson maybe getting a call.

Not sure that Llanez will be available. Sciaretta (I think) had a tweet not that long ago that Uly was back in the States and Heereveen was alluding to some kind of family/personal issues. Haven't seen that he has returned to the club.

I think Llanez probably got homesick during this crazy time. Happens. He's still had arguably the best performances in a USA jersey for any of the wing options and I think Kreis trusts him. If he's in LA already it seems pretty easy for him to head down to Guadalajara...

If he has been away from training for 3-4 weeks, seems unlikely that he would be ready to go for a major tourney. And homesick is possible, but seeing that he had been away from home for a year plus already, it seems a little less likely that homesickness is the reason.

All those guys will be in training camp on March 3rd. It's not clear what Uly has been doing or will be doing in the next 2 weeks. Now, I'd guess Kreis has been in contact with him and has some idea, but I don't think having Uly available is a slam dunk. The team should be fine regardless, but It would be a hit if he wasn't fit to play.

Robinson, Bello and Lennon will NOT be going to the U23 #USMNT camp. Quarantine process will not allow them to be available for first #SCCL2021 game on April 6.
#ATLUTD #MLS

Atlanta being Atlanta.

It is absolutely aggravating the approach that some MLS teams take when it comes to decisions that impact the MNT. Doubt this would happen in too many countries.

Also, is Alvarez not being on the list indicative that he's going to hitch his wagon to Mexico? Or is it because he's on the young side for an Olympic year?
