i said that last week and the response I got is Dest is Dani alves. There's gotta be a middle ground.
Weah is doing well as a sub at least. Looks healthy again finally. Minutes starting to go up as he gets more starts. Silver lining.

Dest is just back from injury which was keeping him out of the starting XI. Our new transfers are still getting acclimated. Should get a chance to start this week or more likely next week. Puli was out due to family issues. Mckennie, Adams, Sargent etc all still starting. Not sure the sky is falling here.

The sky isn't falling we are rising up. But let's let the progression happen naturally. My favorite player is Adams but he hasn't exactly torn it up this year. I love sargent but he's been average. There's a long way to go still, but at least there is some talent to rely on. Still over a year and a half to the World Cup, we look for improvement. Sergino Dest is a stud but he has a long way to go to be reliable and consistent. But he's a talent.

Announcers said he had a," Brilliant" first half. I guess he put in a good shift. Good for him
Hopefully there is a 2nd game vs a strong team. 2 Matches vs 2 strong European opponents would give us a good idea of where we stand.

I could tell you right now that our top 11-18 can be a top 5-10 team in the world

If we are talking strictly international teams, and you're considering when they're all in their prime (assuming they all continue to impress, timing say after 2022), then yes, give it a few years and I think that could be a decent argument to make and I'd likely agree.
We aren't there yet. If you're talking U23 national teams... easy money, we're for sure a top 5 or 10 right now. Once those guys mature and age a bit, we'll be in good shape. They need to put some hair on their chests first though. They need to play in a WC.

I like to use logic. We have more UCL players than Uruguay who are top 5.
Of course, we need to see them together, but we have as good as talent as anyone

I agree we have the talent. I guess the last step for me would be to see it. I want to see up play vs a top team and play with swagger. I don't want to see us bunker or play afraid.
When I see that, I will know we have arrived in truth, not just on paper.

That's not how this works. Guys playing Europa League with teams from a top league such as the Bundesliga are likely better players than a champions league player from a Danish team.

Not sure what your comments have to do with my post. We have UCL players in top 5 leagues at every position except left back lol.

Damn, guess we need to hype down our players
A lot of them right now are subs and not scoring
