Looked at half time subs and was surprised to see, "THE DEVIL" was subbed in for Musah, I didn't even know he played for us.

Damn, really wanted that cutback from Reynolds to be buried by Lletget. It's hilarious seeing how much it affects some of you guys. I wanna see him go on to win the Ballon d'Or just to cause some of you to have a hissy fit

Wasted opportunity to get another look at Owatasawie who has actually bossed around epl players and is 18

At some point we need the guys that will be regular players for WCQ to get minutes together. I think that time is now.
I don't really agree with Lletget as a starter but it looks like GB does. So I get what your saying but there does come a time when we need to focus on WCQing until it is over. I believe our first WCQ match is in September so we don't have too many more windows to gel these guys.

I am at work and looks like I am getting mandated to work 16 hours today. I will watch the game when I get home. Glad Dike got on and am anxious to see how he played. Glad we won and I hope we played well.

Good win but it's against a weak European opponent. US could've scored more. It's nice to see our depth.
Berhalter had the opportunity to shift Dest to RW with Reynolds to RB to test that pairing but again chose to shape the lineup around a Llelget inclusion. Why I wish Konrad was on this roster, would've been a better sub option.
De la Torre > Acosta
Would like to see the US team play a better opponent. I still think they are missing a few key dual national pieces.

I don't see much in Acosta. Wasn't very impressed by Siebatcheu, Dike did better. It looked like we kind of shut off toward the end and allowed that late goal.

Still some areas of concern. Not a fan of the 3-4-3. Exposes the backbone to much. And really the US should have had at least on more goal.
For all of the possession attacking thrust is still lacking. Only 9 shots total with 5 on goal.

Robinson let up on the pressure because he was still limping from the previous foul but he held his own. Should've had a goal at the end

No, it's always the right time to play the best players that give you the best chance to win
Doesn't matter how many games Long and Ream have played, they were never have Richards and EPB's ability and quality

I disagree on Ream. His distribution was excellent. Sometimes you need to have consistency from the players you aren't putting under the magnifying lens. I agree the 3-4-3 was not good- the attacking shape was similar to the 4-3-3 but the difference is having that CDM to control that area in front of the defense. Miazga needed to step quicker I thought he was poor. I'm not seeing what you guys are seeing offensively from Robinson he's like a no savvy no nuance version of Arjen Robben robotically trying to get it to his left foot. Siebatcheu was average he was slow to react on the one good ball Robinson sent across which in that moment I said "Zardes would've scored that". Siebatcheu was like if Haji Wright had better technique but I didn't really see anything besides a big guy who couldn't win and control a long ball.

I tend to disagree about the 3-4-3. Miazga played his role, which was to keep a line splitting run in check. Just imagine the 3-4-3 with Adams and McKennie instead of Acosta and Musah. But it would have been interesting to see EPB in the middle of the three and Miazga in place of Long or Ream.
That is not a knock against Acosta...I just think that Adams is more tactically aware.
