This guy basically enables Gregg to keep the team the same in case of injury to Adams. Perea was a big part of the physical play of Orlando, with some quality sprinkled in. He has good ball retention.

I like that analysis. He definitely has a long future with us. I am a fan of Atletico Nacional of Medellin and the kid was on the verge of breaking out there until his loan. I think his Colombian skillset compared with the American work rate will mean this kid was a steal. I see him in Europe in the near future.

It's always nice to have players chose to represent the US. Personally I haven't seen much of Perea, so it's difficult for me to judge where he stacks up against the other CM options. From the highlights I've seen he seems to be technical, but I can't tell if he's a Box-to-Box type or a CDM type.
Where does he fall in the current U-23/Sr. Player pool?
Is he a wait and see player or is he someone who's on the fast track?

Adams
Jonny
Yueill
Perera

#8 is lacking a bit of depth
Mckennie
Pomykal

I will add Musah when and if he makes the switch

Another name to add

Otasowie.

#10: Depth:

Reyna
Aaronson
Alan Sonora
Ledezma

I think Berhalter needs to get scouts down to Argentina because Alan Sonora is starting and plating well for Independiente. Should be a U23 player.

2tone - I think you're missing a couple 8's from your list. They may not be in the same class as McKennie, but I'd put them above Roldan....

#8 is lacking a bit of depth
Mckennie
Pomykal
Lletget
Green
Holmes

Acosta
Bassett
Roldan

Otasowie, like you said is another name that could be added at CDM, CM, or CB. If he continues to get minutes for Wolves it'll be hard to keep someone with that kind of versatility off a roster heading into a Tournament.

Pellegrino Matarazzo and VfB Stuttgart got their Bundesliga campaign off the ground on Saturday with a win over Mainz.
