A little late, but my hopes for 2021 are fairly straight forwards....
1) Our players get & stay healthy
2) Our players see regular 1st team minutes whatever league their in.
3) Musah commits to the USMNT.
4) Honest competition for all positions...CB in particular.
5) Bradley, Ream, & Jozy announce they retire from International game
6) Gregg stops favoring MLS players. Stops giving undeserved camps call-ups to players who have clearly shown they are not International quality.

1) Kyle Scott moves to a team where he gets regular first team minutes. Would be nice to see him make good on his talent
2) To see Reyna and Pulisic in the same team playing well together
3) To see Weston Mckennie stay with Juve and not be tempted by the big money of the EPL (unless it is to Chelsea)
4) GB to select the best 23 for all meaningful games on form and ability, not league
5) For our young strikers to continue to develop and start scoring consistently
6) FIFA to enact a "senior" World Cup for players over 30 (see @Dave's post #5)

Would anyone actually watch a the "GWC" (Geriatric World Cup)?
I guess the more I think about it there would be some interest....but only if they could pull some "Legends" together for a last farewell game/tournament.
Boca, Gooch, Jones, Donovan, McBride, Beasley, Howard, C. Reyna, etc...
I'd be OK watching that team taking on other countries similar types of teams.

Well FIFA is about making money.

While we are at it, why not a coed WC where you can field normal womens national team players with male players over 30.

My one hope is simply that we're able to play the games we're scheduled to. Oh and beating Costa Rica and Mexico later in the year would be lovely.

Now Kyle Duncan is garnering European interest. And yes you guessed it he is a RB.

Happy to hear this. For me, Duncan is the best defender of the bunch and plays with tenacity. I suspect he will not make the 23 of the final roster but to have someone like him excluded is actually a good problem, shows our growing depth.

Araujo to Tottenham? What? He is a Jose type player. Gotta be just a rumor.

Who's reporting Araujo to Tottenham? I read that Araujo was withdrawing from the January camp due to illness...but haven't seen or heard anything about transfer interest from Tottenham for him.
There have been multiple reports on Reynolds getting interest, but nothing since the Holidays.

If we have Dest, Cannon, Yedlin, Reynolds, Araujo, & Scally all in Europe getting consistent minutes it's going to be difficult to find opportunities for any other Right Back options for the foreseeable future. If Duncan, Moore, Olsunde, or anyone else wants a chance they're going to have to step up their game and get to better leagues. Even Cannon is going to be on a short rope...with plenty of players nipping at his heals.
