Lletget is two years younger than ArJo. Lletget provides depth at multiple positions, that's why he is still int USMNT picture. Also he has always brought his A game for the Nats.

I think if Ricardo Pepi hits the ground running this next season for Dallas I could see him getting a shot on the Nation's league team.

If reports are true and Balugon signs for Stuttgart then that could potentially be a plus for the USMNT. He will be playing for an American coach Matarazzo.

ArJo may get a call up who knows. EPB hasn't really shown he is a better quality CB, but he is still young. You want experience more at the back.

I'd take EPB or CCV over Ream any day of the week. If we wont to play a pressing game, Ream is someone who shouldn't be anywhere near the 23.

Never said Ream should still be in the USMNT picture. I have EPB on the nation's league team.

Richards, EPB, Mckenzie, CCV are the future.

Liverpool is looking at him too. I'm sure he'll have a lot of teams interested. Was reading somewhere he favors the Bundesliga

The only advantage Ream has is that he is a natural left footer. I was pretty much dead set against him but after seeing the two friendlies in November, Ream looks to be better than Miagza. Also, Weston was interviewed and noted Ream's leadership.

Personally, I think Ream is too old and too slow. But we need a back up for Brooks, I don't think it will be CCV, possibly could be EPB.

Miazga and CCV (especially) are very much behind Ream when it comes to distribution on the field. Other than that they may be better. I prefer other players to CCV and Ream.

From what I heard Sanogo is waiting for a US call-up. I should've work for US Soccer, been calling for Balogun for over a year.

He just accepted a call up to Germany in October. I've seen the quotes from him about wanting to play for the US, but they were from before the Germany call up.

Miazga's distribution was good, the timing of his tackles and recovery isn't top level.

But Ream is much worse on tackling and recovery and passing isn't better

Gold cup gets a chance to play in the Confederations Cup. Nations league gets you nothing. Best players go to Gold Cup, other guys go Nations league. Mexico, Canada, Costa Rica will all be facing the same choice and I am sure will come to the same conclusion.
That being said, I feel we have the depth to compete for both. Not going to nitpick over player selection GB is going to do what GB feels is right. Now we can truly judge him as these games will be competitive and he has had ample time to test players and build depth.

I don't think there is a Confederations cup anymore. i remember before the 2018 WC they were discussing the possibility of renewing the competition, but I haven't seen anything where FIFA made a final ruling on it.

I think the CONFED cup has been dropped. Abolished in 2019.

Yep gone. Ok, well I guess I still value Gold Cup over Nations league. Not sure with nothing really on the line for either where were sending our best players.
