It isn't going to take much for CP to get minutes again. None of Chelsea's attackers are doing anything. He would jump back to the top of the list with a goal or assist off the bench.

Sadly I think Lampards approach of making Pulisic into the next Hazard was flawed. I'm fine with Tuchel using his current defensive squad with the players he has to get results. Doesn't mean he doesn't like or trust Christian it means the team was put together poorly and Tuchel is just trying to scrape results.
I agree CP will be back for Chelsea, this season. Some things take time. I thought he was overused by Lampard in an attempt to jump start their mismatched attack. The re injury wasn't a surprise. I think CP should be super fit and ready for the USA that's what I care about. He's still our best offensive player regardless of Chelsea which I don't care about at all. In fact him not playing too much helps guarantee his health for the USA which we need.

Came on in the 90th min. Reporters asked the Coach and he basically said he thinks Pulisic is a game changer off the bench. Says he trains really well and deserves a start and he has been unfair to him. But still pretty much only values him off the bench. So expect a lot of 5 min appearances for CP and hope he moves on in the Summer.

Time for him to move on Tuchel sees him as a sub. Would love to see if he pushes for a move this summer. But his little muscle injuries will worry some teams.

He's a good player. I don't think him leaving would be best. Fighting for more minutes at Chelsea right now can be good for him. Hope he's released for the friendlies think the games can give him some confidence.

Nah time to go. No need to rot on the bench. Perfect situation is Sancho being sold and Dortmund getting him back in the summer. Pulisic and Reyna together.... hell yeah.

Would be good to see him with Reyna, but I think staying and fighting could be good, the lack of playing time could help him fully heal--lampard played it well with CP he pissed him off and he played well after that-then he got hurt, then he was played in odd spots, then he got hurt, then he lost some confidence, then he got hurt etc etc.
Would be great to know what the coach really thinks, im not buying he deserves to start then only gives hims a couple mins-is he trying to light a fire under him, does he not rate him, are they planning to move on due to injury concerns etc but it could be a blessing he isnt playing alot, heal up and put the injury bug past him for good

I think the Pulisic situation at Chelsea is as fluid as Tuchel's tactics.

Tuchel is mandated to finish in the top 4. If he does then he stands a chance of extending his contract. If he doesn't, well they will just replace him after next season. He has to do this with players he inherited.

The defensive frailty of Chelsea was quite evident...Tuchel has fixed that usually by employing an extra defender, which means an attacking player needed to be lost.

In the current scheme, where does CP fit in? Hard to say, especially since Werner and Mount are playing well and hard to drop. That makes it difficult when you have the likes of Ziyech, Havertz, Pulisic, Abraham, and Giroud all fighting for one spot.

And it is not as if CP has been playing well either. He has gotten better, but right now he is a little off the boil so he hasn't really deserved to start. But he has been the first guy off the bench a few times so Tuchel does rate him.

If I were a betting man, I would bet CP starts against Leeds with a crucial CL match with Athletico midweek next week.

As for should he go, let's see what happens this summer. Chelsea are trying to get Haaland to solve their striker situation so they may include CP as a sweetner. Personally, the manager knows his qualities and has played him in the past so if he finds form he will play. I think staying and fighting for his spot would be just as advantageous as walking into a team where he could comfortably start and can rest on his laurels.

So Puli with the start vs. Leeds. Looked dangerous playing as a wingback, created pretty much all of Chelsea real chances. Pulled in the 70th min for Werner. Chelsea immediately lost control of the mid and possession. To me Puli looked like the most creative and dangerous player for Chelsea, no idea why he replaced him. Chelsea look lost without him.

Yep he needs to leave this summer. Tuchels tactics are not for him.

Right now, yes. But Tuchel is dealing with an inherited team, not a team that he has had some input building so it will be interesting to see what happens in the summer.

There is also a chance Tuchel walks away from the job. The Chelsea board are notorious for buying players without consulting the manager and Tuchel had a similar experience at PSG and may not stand for it.

The board will be reluctant to sell their main asset in selling the brand to the American market, so only if CP forces the issue will they sell.
