F*** cash app. Ha !

All good with the stats but if you want to see some fluid attacking soccer its either him or Mc Kennie on the pitch, otherwise you'll see a ping pong tournament.....

blaise213 - We all know your approach to the game is to put as many attackers on the file as possible. We've seen your type of line-ups, featuring all attacking players and no defense.

Starting XI - Feb. 4th "March Friendlies"

- Sargent -
Reyna - Holmes
Pulisic - Ledzema - De la fuente
Robinson - Brooks - Richards - Dest
- Steffen -

We also know you hate the concept of McKennie & Adams being used at the same time. I wonder what you're going to do when Gregg gets around to fielding his preferred formation & player selections?
A 4-3-3...
----Pulisic-------Jozy-------Morris-----
---McKennie---Bradley/Yueill----Adams----
-Dest------Brooks------Long-----Cannon-

Blaise knows nothing about tactics, but that lineup should piss off everyone save Bob Bradley.

There's no way Bradley is still in the picture. If thats GB's line up, then I'll keep advocating for him to get fired. That's an insane MLS homer lineup. Morris maybe but Long sucks, Cannon is 5th option at RB, Yueill 6th option at DM (he's actually not bad)

Since that post I accepted that Adams or Mckennie needs to be inserted which would be in place of Ledzema, but like I said its one or the other. Both of them IMO are the same person regardless if ones called a #6 or #8

The XI I want to see now (why we call them friendlies)

-- Balogun --
- Reyna - Tillman (injured)
Pulisic - Cardoso - De la Fuente
Robinson - JB - Richards - Dest
- Steffen --

FIFA 21 team of the year

I don't know I may have to agree with @blaise on this one. If Gregg is going to use someone other than adams in that 6 role then both McKennie and Adams shouldn't play at the same time. It is a little redundant I think. But if goes back to his Columbus days and puts in his 4-2-3-1 with wingbacks high, then the pressure is more on McKennie than Adams. I think there are more capable players at the 8 in the pool than there are 6s. And so long term I think McKennie is going to have to prove it against more players than Adams will. Neither should be the most attacking mid in that 4-2-3-1. We haven't yet done it because we "don't have an Higuain" as Gregg said when he got the job, but maybe Gio allows him to rethink that a bit. Anyways it's an interesting moment and let's see what happens against Wales.

It's not redundant if Mckennie plays higher up the pitch than Adams and offers more going forward and in the final 3rd.

We also don't have anyone close to Mckennie's club level as an 8.

A more useful discussion would be, why Morris should even be in the team?

Also, Aron Johannson is the most clinical finisher we have and in fine form.
He should be in camp.

Why wouldn't Morris be in the team? That's the question. Don't cite players that barely play for the European club teams should be playing over him. Because they shouldn't be.

Bc his club level is too low

Bc he doesn't have the mentality for top level competition

Bc his skillset or lack thereof doesn't complement our top players

Bc his technique is bad

Bc he can't beat ppl 1v1

Bc he can't cross or shoot from range

Bc he can't combine in tight spaces

Bc he can't cut in

Bc if he was at a higher level he wouldn't perform better than the other wingers

Bc his inclusion sends a message of bias to inferior players with cushy careers and makes the program look bad

Considering how few games our core group of players have had together, I think it's important that if healthy the group of Pulisic, Adams, Mckennie, Reyna, Brooks & Dest are given a minimum of 45 minutes together every camp they're available.
Reyna has yet to play with any of these guys. Adams was injured most of 2019, and Dest has very few appearances.
Building chemistry and confidence among these 6 will be crucial to our success in WCQ.

@bjelks- I said if he plays someone else than both Adams and McKennie ahead of player x is redundant.

Miazga started for Anderlecht today
CCV is playing for a top 3 EFL team
Brooks is still in form.

They have to be top 5 in the CB pool

Brooks is my #1 CB but he is injured often so in these camps I would be looking for depth behind him

CCV just went to a new team-I would let him get settled in and then bring him in next go around:

MM-Same, just went to a new team, plus GB doesnt rate him so I figured it would be good to see a couple other guys we know what MM brings: I have him above long/zimmerman but GB doesnt rate him

I cant argue with that logic-in my mind I would use this almost like a euro camp cupcake-Im hoping there will be more windows open due to CV19 maybe not in which case I would agree we need to see time with him and Reyna on the field together-
