Good first half kept it simple and kept possession. Had a shot outside of the box with his left go over the crossbar with power but no accuracy
Had a tackle that led to a breakaway but Ronaldo hit the crossbar

Denied in what way? Offsides? Goalie saved his shot? Another Player made the wrong pass while he was in on goal? You mean goal scoring opportunities?

Went the full 90. Looked strong out there. Rotated out to the right wing back near the end of the game.
Had a scramble on a corner and the goalie made a great reaction save or he scores. Also had another shot slightly deflected almost cross the line before the keeper cleared. Not a goal literally by an inch.
He played very well. Wasn't perfect but liked his simplicity. I would have just liked more weight on some of those passes.

If McKennie and Adams are playing at the same, the midfield would be nothing but backwards passes

They make the right choice. Sometimes a backpass is the best choice, when the defense has collapsed you need to play backwards to draw them out and create space. Forcing the ball into a space that isn't there and giving it up is always a bad choice. You will never score if you don't have possession and if you always have possession your opponent won't score.

Two back-passers in the midfield leads to scoreless or game losses

Lol you wrong, ignorant and stupid.
Too many kicks to the head.
Need a new hobby.
Both of them played in 3 goal performances and wins and connected over 50 forward passes

I agree, I thought he played very well. He was clean in posession, was good defensively and almost scored two goals. He showed decent range of passing, no midfielder connects on 100% of passes if they are trying to break lines or more aggressive vertical balls over the top. It is only one game, but I can't fathom how Pirlo would be disappointed in his performance. He totally looked like he belonged on a very good team.
On a side note, how happy is he that he is playing for a team like Juve vs Schalke!
