I guess somehow he doesn't have his own thread yet in the Germany section?

Most important player in the pool for my money***. The USA has a whole bunch of attacking players from Dest in the back all way forward. And that's not changing it's increasing. But what this country lacks right now is an elite defender. Learning from his idol Jerome Boateng can only help and Richards' progress is moving quickly...

Stay at Bayern for a year? Go on loan? I'm hoping he can stay and learn with the best. Unbelievable opportunity right now.

So much young talent abroad it's gotten impossible to keep track of them all. I had heard he was training with the First team and as far as I know they are not planning on sending him out on loan. I expect he will see some Champions league minutes and hopefully plenty of sub appearances for the first team.

Richards made his debut at the end of last year after Bayern had already clinched.
Schalke are shockingly bad, so can't read much into Richards cameo at the end. I think Bayern faced stiffer competition in the pre-season friendlies than what they faced today.

Forgot that he had a cameo last year. Not reading anything into it other than he is moving up the pecking order.

I can't see Wagner surviving the first month at Schalke.

Jesse Marsch has claimed a personal accolade as he's been named Coach of the Year in Austria.
