The top two finishers in each group, along with the four best third-place teams, will move on to the knockout stage.
The league arbitrarily dropped Inter Miami into Orlando's group prior to the draw, which includes one group of six teams. Each member of that group, Group A, will play three of the other five teams based on a predetermined formula.
This league is so hard to watch now ! Bad soccer, slow and poor decision making

Having not played for months and training with restrictions, what would you expect? Especially with Miami being the first year and all. Haven't watched the game as of yet but I suspect it will be a bit rough.

I have come to expect American fandom to over blow everything now. It's getting bad with fans. The EPL and the Bundesliga were both awful when they started playing again.

Yep it was bad for about 1/2 hour then it was fine. I have seen games in both the Bundesliga and EPL that began the same way.
What really puzzled me though was the choice of teams to start the tourney. Why not an intense rivalry like Seattle/Portland? They picked 2 of the worst teams that have no history. It's no wonder it took a bit of time for them to find some motivation.

I agree, the marketing department who thought this game would get the tournament kicked off with a bang and entice a national audience to tune in should all be fired immediately.

New England had the better chances. They should be up if Bou had finished any of the shots that came to him

I kind of hope Agudelo has a resurgence at striker for Miami. I would love to have him back to his best as Sargents back up for the USMNT.

Matt Turner with a great save at the death. He's one to watch he can really solidify that no3 keeper for the US with a good tournament.

Watching Nagbe at CM for Columbus is so fun to watch. Berhalter needs to convince this guy to come back to the USMNT. Not much depth at CM for the USMNT right now.

Hate to break it to everybody but Zardes is still definitely in the USMNT equation. Dude has two good goals tonight. And looks in really good form. This the Zardes I enjoy watching.
I'm Betting on Columbus from the East. They stay healthy and I could see them winning this tournament and pushing on when the full season resumes.
