Sargent did well forced the own goal
Should've had one if not for a great save by Muller.
Combined well with Rashica even though Rashica was a a bit selfish on some breakaways
Bremen score in the last minutes they're staying in the top flight

Sargent had a nice run to end the season and was critical for Bremen staying up. Really hope he can build off of the last month or so. I also hope that Bremen can get some midfield help.

Glad Sargent is coming around. But he should have had two goals in that game against Heidenheim. If he keeps it up... the goals will start to flow.

As I thought, except for Bayern/Shalke, All games are on ESPN+. Also, NBC has majority of games ob Peacock premium. Even MLS is mainly ESPN+. So much for growing soccer in the US. Common sports person won't pay to watch soccer So munch for watching our young players each week.

Assist for Sargent against Bayern
Should've had a goal if not for a good kick save from Neuer

Sargent and Chris Richards talking and dapping each other up after the game. Love to see that.
Sargent had a few opportunities in the second half. One was blocked by Goretzka and the other was a near post shot that was saved by Neuer. Second one he prob could've tried for the far post but that's asking a lot especially with Boateng racing to close him down

Sargent picked up a minor injury during warmups
However a goal for John Brooks. Header in the box after a set piece. 2-1 Wolfsburg currently

Julian Green scored a beautiful volley today, currently in a promo spot to the Bundesliga
Been slept on for far too long, let's stop playing politics and call the best players
Agree he's deserved a call-up for a while now. Unfortunately he's also picked up injuries just before some of the camps and so wasn't really available for selection. With the need to field a minimum of 2 teams next year + the Olympics I can't see any justification that Gregg could use to overlook him next year.
He may not be in Gregg's plans for WCQ games, but he should be at least considered for the Nations League and/or the Gold Cup.

That exact run Green made against Belgium is exactly the run I'm talking about. So if he were up to playing on the wing maybe he's got a shot. I don't see him edging Musah out of the squad for example.

Gregg is basically playing two 8's, and while Green may not be beating out Musah or McKennie for a starting spot; he should be in the mix to be a back-up for one of them. IMO it comes down to a handful of possible players....Aaronson, Green, Holmes, Lletget, & Pomykal (Now that Ledezma is sidelined with an ACL). There is also one of Gregg's favorites, Roldan to contend with (even if most of us fans don't rate him).
The fact that Green could also provide additional coverage in a wider attacking roll actually adds to why he should be towards to the top of the back-up pecking order.

The other thing to remember is that we don't actually have Musah yet. We may be leading the race for his services, but there is still the real possibility that he will choose England.
