You gotta be willing to call it like it is. Boyd didn't create chances and Morris did against the same level. Until Boyd gets another crack, Morris has the edge.

And when Boyd scores a goal which he hasn't in 19 appearances in 2019/20 campaign. I would prefer giving someone else an opportunity. Morris has scored 2 goals in 2 appearances for 2020.

I am not calling for Lima, Trapp, Roldan and Arriola. I think there are other options that are better available.

I'll agree that Boyd hasn't been as impactful as Morris for the nats.
I also think Morris has had ineffective games that are dismissed.
With that being said, Boyd is playing at too high a level to ignore and technically he's clearly a step above Morris.
You would think that with the right group, a player pf Boyd's caliber would complement the team.
I'm also not married to Boyd. CP, Reyna, Weah, Uly, Gooch can easily be above them both.

Basically what is being said is that when Morris does well, its because others around him... and when Boyd isn't creating or doing well its because of... the players around him? Completely disregarding the fact that both guys had the same supporting cast. Makes complete and total sense!

Except Jordan is accustomed to playing a sloppier, scrappier, more disjointed style of football so playing a less technical style doesn't affect him.

CP is also affected when playing with much lesser players. He gets frustrated, tries to overplay, and loses the ball bc he doesn't trust his teammates.

Ibra and Rooney commented on these frustrations with the quality of his teammates when moving to mls

Tyler Adams has really finished the season well and I look forward to the new bundesliga season. I want to see him really push forward and be the next "have to buy" American player after Pulisic when he moved to Chelsea. His injuries this season prevented him from being at his best. It looks like only injury is going to stop him from making it to the very top. Nice long diagonal in the first half today, Gregg...

So for most of these guys the offseason will be a time of change.

Richards will be at a new club, likely on loan.
Reyna looks like he will push to start most games.
McKennie may get sold as Schalke are in financial trouble.
Llanez needs to push for game time next season.
Is Brooks going to move as has been rumored all year??
Adams looks to push to start every game (or most) as the #6 for Leipzig.

And the off-season will be much shorter than usual we may get a lot of answers real quickly.

Two more games left in Bremen's season. Who knows anything about their opponents except to say Bremen has been awful and obviously Heidenheim has been good. Bremen has looked since the restart but their defense and midfield defense are awful. Wouldn't be surprising to still see them relegated. Lots of pressure on Sargent.

First game was 0-0, and Sargent got in late off the bench. Huge game today.

Pretty huge that Sargent started in one of their biggest games in 40 years.
