Mckennie had a good first half for Schalke. I didn't get to watch the second half but he played a spirited game. Still needs to work on his linking of attacking play a bit.

Julian Green made 2.Liga Team of the Week. Should be in contention for the national team backup 8.

Chris Richards scored this weekend in the 3.Liga for Bayern M 2.
Bayern M 2 is 2nd in 3.Liga behind on a point. Chris is arguably the best CB in the 3.Liga and rumored to be targeted by several mid table EPL clubs.

Erik Palmer Brown is leading players Under 23 in clearances in the Austrian Bundesliga.
This stat is an indicator that he is under constant pressure and that he handles it very well.
Erik is arguably the best CB in Austria which includes a CL team and a EL team.
This kid deserves more respect and consideration. He also scored his 2nd of the season over the wknd.

It's been a nice developmental year for EPB. Hopefully he can move up the club food chain. At 23, he's still plenty young enough as CB's go.

Good weekend for us.

Good to Julian Green getting a nice assist. McKennie having his best game in a while vs a good side, JS looking the best has -was happy to see the hustle.

Didnt see EPB but I have thought both Richards and EPB deserve call ups to get a look at where they are in the pecking order.

Not unopposed to him getting a look. But still would like to see him improve with the ball at his feet and under pressure. Two games ago, he had an own goal which has a bit of a fluke. But he missed an opportunity and allowed a goal in the first goal. I think that is why he came off the bench this past game.

The concern is if GB insist on building out of the back. The opposition pressures the LB and RB, then we should have CB's that are somewhat comfortable under pressure with the ball. Brooks is clearly the most comfortable in this aspect currently. But the rest is a toss up.

EPB came off the bench due to squad rotation. His passing percentages are usually above 85%.
Also, if playing out of the back was a concern of Gregg's, he wouldn't be playing Long and Zimmerman.

Miazga and Richards are also thought of to be very good on the ball within their clubs and leagues.

Hopefully Bayern gives Richards a look now that they've clinched the title. Though it sounds like Bayern's signing young PSG center back Tanguy Kouassi for next season.

I thought ball skills was something EPB was noted for? When he was on the U-20 team that beat Mexico in the U20 regional championship he played as a defensive CM if I am not mistaken..... Wouldn't think he would be able to play in that deep lying mid role if not comfortable on the ball. Maybe the skillset is only at a U20 level
