I believe Efrain would make the switch if we lobbied him. I think Sargent really needs someone to push him maybe it is Pepi in a year or two.

Honestly I believe Efrain is another player we've lost to El Tri, and while I wish this wasn't the case I think we'll be fine at the Sr. Level with Ledezma & Mendez.

As for Sargent needing someone to push him....I think there are going to be a couple players who'll make him work hard to be the first choice # 9.
1) Morris - As our young wing options gain experience (Reyna, Weah, Llanez), I think Jordan will be pushed further forwards. I see him potentially alternating starts with Sargent within a year. I think he's a stop-gap (bridge) player who's going to be overtaken within 3-4 years.
2) Ferreira - Showed especially well in the January camp finding the little pockets of space and combining with the other attackers. He's also a versatile player who can slot in at ACM or out wide, which makes him an excellent option for a 3rd string player.
3) Jozy - As much as I wish he weren't in the conversation...a Healthy Jozy is still probably our best striker and will remain in the conversation for the next 2 years.
4) Pepi - Is likely the long term challenger for Sargent, but probably not until after the 2022 WC when Jozy & Zardes are finally put out to pasture.

I guess the chancellor of Germany has extended no groups larger than 2 until August. So there is no way they can play until at least August now. Going to get really bad for some teams if no play goes on that long.

I think it is partly a tactic and partly true. It mentioned 160 million cash reserves in 2016 to 40 million presently. Besides the lawsuit and the current pandamic what would cause such a rapid financial decline?

But my observation has three has been exodus of coaches and executives over the past couple of years. Maybe that was foreshadowing of the current trouble. This could be an opportunity for USSF to get it's house in order

One thing that will erode cash reserves at a rapid rate is the loss of revenue due to missing the world cup. If they had debt they were financing with the expectation of a world cup helping to alleviate, then money reserves can evaporate very quickly. Also, missing out on tv revenue to the recent friendlies, gate revenue is way down after the failure to qualify for the WC, and legal battles with USWNT it isn't too hard to imagine a scenario where cash reserves are slashed.
