As much as I still don't think Roldan should be anywhere near the national team. He did have 2 goals last night and his 2nd was pure class, great first touch and a fantastic chip of the keeper. Morris with a goal and an assist last night as well as causing Galaxy back line fits all night.
.

Roldan's situation isn't to different from others in the past. He tends to excel at the club level, but has been poor when with the National Team. The difference is that this cycle we have options at the position. Gregg just needs to call them in and test them with the rest of the team. Holmes, Green, Acosta, Ledezma, etc... are all options that need to be tested at the CM position with the rest of the "A-Team". if the November friendlies happen at least some of them should be in the camp. Really hoping the Europe camp happens as there are a number of players who deserve to get a shot to see if they aren't better than some of the MLS regulars Gregg tends to favor.

I'm sure that if the October friendlies hadn't been cancelled we'd have seen a number of these MLS guys get called in....Cole Basset, Jonathan Lewis, Jeremy Ebobisse, Chris Muller, Ayo Akinola, etc.... The next likely option to get the MLS players into a camp will be the January Camp (if it's even held this year).

With the way the quarantine is I'd be surprised if they didn't have a January camp. Might be the only time to get the team together (the domestic team) before the bigger games start. I still think there's the odd chance that the qualifiers are played by domestic only players.

Another assist for Mueller. John Strong and Stu Holden were wondering where he fits whenever the US plays meaningful games. I think he'd be on the Gold Cup team.

I'd give Daryl Dike a call if I was Berhalter/Kreis. Target men aren't as prominent but the play style can still be effective. Plus he's been really good under Pareja.

So Goals for Morris and Zardes last night. Muller got a rest night and played a bit as a sub. So Morris and Zardes still both in top 5 for goals. Zardes is 2nd with 10 goals. Morris is 4th with 8 Goals. Muller tied with a bunch of guys for 5th with 7 goals. Morris should have had a brace but got called offsides by an arm which is silly to me.

His brother plays for Nigeria, but no harm in asking if he is interested. He has the talent.

Few games in and the Matuidi and Higuain pickups were some nice bits of business for Inter Miami. Add Pizarro when he gets back from Intl duty and we might have something cooking with this team

Also 17 year Caden Clark scored for Red Bulls at Atlanta. Let's keep an eye on him looks to be another bright talent.

Galaxy with no Chicharito and down to 10 fighting for their lives

Schelotto might get the boot if they lose

Also glad he finally switched out Bingham for Klinsmann

I think it's time for a coaching change at the Galaxy. They actually have a ton of talent but can't seem to win any games. I have watched a few of their games and truly have no idea what their playstyle is. The Galaxy are a high profile team and they deserve a high profile coach. They should spend the money on a Tata Martino kind of hiring and build from there.
