That was a class goal from Eryk Williamson and Diego Valeri

He's found his footing with Portland

U23s could be a nice start for him

Really liking both of those players. Williamson plays a position we don't have current depth at. Aaronson will be competing with Reyna and Ledezma for the 10.

I'm on the Sam "smeagol" Vines train. Very good recognition of space both on offense and defense. He's really playing an inverted LB a lot of times and getting into areas you'd see a #10. Problem is he has Johnathan Lewis in front of him- who does not look like anything but a guy who abuses tired defenses as a substitute. He's been poor today.

I saw Pepi got his second goal of the season. It wasn't pretty but at this point looking at anything for forwards.

Right run, right spot. Pepi is one of the top prospects for my money he's basically next in line after Sargent as a true forward and striker. I don't see the other guys (Soto, Ferreira, etc) being better than the well rounded Pepi. Ricardo is still so young but has spent his career to this point playing up, and he is producing as usual. His whole game is nice.

Also from the same game I'm not sure but Bryan Reynolds looked more dynamic than Reggie Cannon used to. Dante Sealy made his debut in this game as well. FC Dallas is back to having the young guys on the field. Props to Luchi.

Morris just bossing the game. A goal and an assist so far and several sublime passes. When he is on he looks unstoppable.

Morris looked like a world beater against my woeful Quakes. One of the all time worst defensive performances by a Quake team ever. There were a handful of players that did not bother to play Almeyda's system. When that happens it's a shredfest in transition.

I want Vako to go far far away...possibly the worst fit for what Almeyda is trying to do...but a pet of the GM Fioranelli because he foolishly gave him a long term fat DP contract. Vako will score a goal....then play like an 8 year old for the next 4 games...he has almost no interest in playing any D, which completely breaks down Almeyda's approach.

Big toxic mess in SJ right now

Solid coach, but bad clueless GM and cheap-ass ownership.

Why bring in Almeyda if you aren't willing to get him some fucking quality players!

Sorry for the rant...

You could see very quickly that SJ were not matching Seattle's intensity. It's up to the players to kick themselves into a higher gear. Coach looked devastated and just sat on the bench. I would have pulled 1/2 the team at 1/2 time and injuries be dammed. You want to play like a bitch you don't deserve to be on the pitch. Wondo was the only player on the quakes that looked ready to play. He was scrapping etc. the rest were just too passive.

Sméagol with a goal. Guy gets tucked way inside and forward. Good player with good recognition of space and a good touch. Better than I thought he was after watching a few games.

And Bassett had another quality game too. Goal, assist.

Can't watch this league anymore. Seriously seems like it's regressed and it's pretty boring now that Zlatan is gone. That tournament was horrendous with only a few decent games and the ratings were pretty bad.. There's barely any MLS games being nationally televised anymore.

Union games are pretty good to watch, Dallas is interesting because the youth movement. LA Galaxy has it's moments, some teams do suck to watch.

Pretty much none of this is true. All sports are down rating wise about 20%, MLS is no different. TV contract is still intact.
As far as boring, your opinion is yours. I watch several leagues. MLS is no more or less boring than any in my opinion.

Another good week for American players in MLS. It was also a good week for American's abroad. Exciting times.
