No one is talking about him, but he moved to PUMAS and has started really well. Would like to see him get a USMNT call up at some point.

There was an article (SBI I believe) that said he'd been invited to the January Camp, but Pumas wasn't willing to release him.
With the recent injury to Arriola, Berhaulter's usual call-up options are getting thin. This should open the door for a good number of the younger wing options to get a call....
Weah - Back from his injury and should start seeing minutes this weekend for his club.
Reyna - Already seeing minutes with BvB, and worth at least a preliminary look in a camp to see if he's ready.
Llanez - Showed well in January camp and worth seeing him against a better opponent.
Saucedo - has had a good start to the Liga MX season. Was invited to the January Camp, but was not released.
Holmes - more of a CM than a winger, but can play on the wing. Left this weekend's game with an injury. Hoping it's not serious.
-
Regulars:
Pulisic will hopefully be back/healthy
Morris will likely start on the opposite wing, but it is the start of the MLS season and may not be in top form.
Boyd has been relegated to the bench and has seen very, very limited minutes for his club.
Arriola - Potentially sidelined for 9 months with a knee injury.

If only Morris could tear his acl, we wouldn't have to watch him pass to the Netherlands and run in circles

The fed needs to be cleaned up of the good ole boy politics and he's no legit national team player.
He'll be fine. His daddy is a surgeon and it's not like his career is going anywhere.
You'll thank me when we get to the WC Semis bc we finally get the selection right.

He seems to be a legit national team player to me. But hey everyone has an opinion. But to call for a player to get injured...... I can't stand that crap. I hope Morris continues to play great because the kid is a winner. And the USMNT doesn't have many players with his mentality. Morris definitely has a skill set the USMNT needs. He may not be a starter in the future but he is definitely a USMNT player for this cycle.

Ha, no. I'd like to think of myself as a true sportsman...I've played my whole life. He stepped over my line when he wished for someone to tear their ACL. I've seen and heard many players blow their knees on the field and the thought of some clueless fuck wishing that on a player is repulsive...far beyond posting idiotic soccer related drivel.

How are you even defining play great lol?
What has he won of significance?
The US has plenty of players with Morris mentality which is why the team has only declined for the past 3 yrs.
The US doesn't need wingers that can't keep possession or beat ppl off the dribble.
With Reyna as a regular, Bofo lighting it up, and Ully to be promoted soon, there's no place for Morris in 22.

It's funny that you're never this passionate when the USMNT passes up clearly better dual and foreign based players to give him chances.
Your prejudice against minorities and fanboyship of sum is repulsive.
I don't wish injury on anyone, but if he needs to be hurt to clean up the corruption in the federation then so be it.
He knows it's part of the game and he'll be fine.
And the nats will be better off.

When it comes to "mentality", I can only guess you mean wanting to be in the MLS rather than try to get overseas. However, if you mean in the tactical sense, I would disagree. Morris might have some skill limitations, but I think he's one of the more tactically advanced guys in the pool in terms of off the ball movement. Even when he immediately made the jump from Stanford to the Nats, his off ball movement was very impressive. It hasn't gotten worse, and it's a pretty critical component as a winger. He will likely be passed by with some of the younger kids coming up, but he's worth being in the 22 for the time being. It really isn't the hill you should die on.

Oh, and with Saucedo in particular, I know numbers aren't the be all, end all, but Morris's goal scoring dwarfs Saucedo's, and Morris is only about 2 years older than Saucedo. I am fine with calling Saucedo in for a look, but you can't say he is particularly more deserving than Morris. Liga MX, top to bottom, isn't appreciably better than MLS, if at all.
