Dest starts
Pulisic on the bench
No Weah or Adams still out injured

If Chelsea have another good performance with this lineup, CP's playing time is going to be very, very limited moving forward.

CP not making it off the bench two games running. Looks like Chelsea is going to lose, so that might prompt changes on the weekend.

With our current state of flank mids...arriola, morris, GB should be seriously looking at Dest as an option at flank mid...huge upgrade...play him on the opposite side of Puli.

I'd play him at his natural RB position
Robinson at LB

Yeah, I'm just tired of seeing marginal flank mids...Pulisic is the only well rounded quality attacker we have at that position...everyone else has holes in their games, to the point where we are limited.

Morris and Arriola play mentally slow...Boyd is spotty and his commitment, or lack of commitment to what GB wants from him defensively is, imo, what keeps him off the field...do an iso on what he's doing on the first goal against Mexico...very casual defensive awareness...no help.

Dest is well rounded and checks all the boxes. He would be a terror on the opposite side of Pulisic. I'm not saying he wouldn't be a good option at fullback once he improves his defense, but imo, he would have more impact right now at mid. We have options that can play outside back, but are really thin at outside mid.

I agree. I think Dest better as a winger. He gets scorched and he gets muscled off the ball from games, I've seen of Ajax and we all saw the Mexico game. He seems better upfront then at the back.

I think he will be fine on defense. Dude is 18.
