I don't buy this is "going to take years" to reinvent the way we play. And JK started that anyway. We don't have the players to play out of the back/ attacking soccer. That's why we aren't getting results. A backline can either beat a press or they can't. We don't have a CAM. We don't have a striker. We have 1 winger and he never plays on the wing.

GB is trying to re-invent the whole thing? Get out of here with that. He's just mediocre to bad at every aspect of managing at the international level. Bad team selection. Poor line up choices. Poor tactics. Bad substitutions. It's all crap. There is no process here. There is no clever system. He is objectively bad at his job, and we aren't going in anything remotely resembling a positive direction under GB.

I'll disagree.

I think Duane Holmes or Green would make fine CAMs

I think Sargent would be fine with competent wing and link play

I think Sonora and Gall are a lot better than Morris

I think Lovitz isn't a top 40 player in the pool

The sum of the bad players overshadows the quality of the good players

You just listed 2 players not playing top flight soccer and a striker who has yet to earn regular minutes in his pro career. So like I said, we don't have those players yet

Gall is meh. Washed out of MLS and isn't getting much run in Sweden.

It's stupid that Holmes isn't on the squad.

Sonora should get a look. Alvarado should get another chance.

There are a bunch of dudes that just played with the U23 team that should have been out there tonight.

Yeah, we're trying to plug in some known quality guys, that aren't exactly suited for the position they're playing with the nats. I'm not a big fan of Mckennie as an 8 for instance....he has Bund cred but he is nothing special as a nats 8

We don't have a lot of true international level players. JK found that out...early on he made a comment alluding to not having fundamentally sound technique in the players. Our overall trapping and ball control is so poor by international standards...just kills us...look at the horror show tonight.

If you can't perform the basics of the game you adapt...basically US soccer in a nutshell...destroy the game and hope to score on a counter, defensive mistake or set piece.

We don't have a central midfielder when Adams is out. We need to develop one, club situation be damned.

Try out Kyle Scott, Parks, Zelalem, Ledezema, Aaronson and Pomykal.

Just try something.

Don't fall into the bjelks trap of throwing out random names without context though. Make a specific case for somebody to replace somebody who isn't cutting it. Like if you want Holmes's energy and creativity to replace whatever it is Roldan is supposed to be bringing.

I'm sorry I don't think you know what you're talking about.

We just lost to a team with no one that starts in a top 5 league.

Holmes plays in a league better than mls

Sarg is a starter

Gall plays on a team that competes for league titles and in Europa.
At the very least he's better than Baird

Just hope Weah and Adams are healthy for the rematch and GB does not insist on playing Adams at RB.

Also wish he would get his head out of his #$% and call Holmes.

Pomykal has the bite for 6, none of the others do

Ledezma is a 10

Parks I see as an 8
