Dude-if @bjelks said that you would have lost your mind. Give me a break the guy has a different opinion no need to respond with that type of lang.

If Kamp didn't like Samtom post-tell him to get lost, but why the harsh lang.

It seems people on this site believe you have to think like them or else they are stupid. you guys rag on @bjelks all the time bc he doesn't share your same insight.

I get not rooting against your team-on the surface it sound like blasphemy, interesting topic would be would you do so if it meant the program would change.

We lost to Trinidad and thus missed a world cup-let that sink in, we lost to a rec team with a world cup on the line. GB is not alone, Bruce, JK, Bradley, all have had questionable call ups-we need an expanded player pool.

We need to look at new players. IF we lose to Canada and it lights a fire of change in US soccer Im all for it.

But to support name calling is lame-seems like you have a double standard on that @lilmike
Hahaha what are you talking about?? Seriously, what are you talking about? Did you not see my response to bjelks on this same page of this same thread, where he both used foul language and very specifically and clearly name called?? Did you see any of the responses to his many posts in this thread? I'm not sure if you have a hard time with reading comprehension or are suffering from bjelks syndrome... but come on man.

And if you're going to condemn Kramphgruppe for "harsh language" and then not turn around and do the same for bjelks... when he legitimately did the same and worse on this same page of the same thread... is that not a double standard (as you have just accused me of)? Again... come on man.

@stoked3, reply to Kramphgruppe's post and highlight exactly where he was name calling. If not, as you couldn't do with my post, then it can pretty much be concluded that you're making stuff up... just as bjelks does.

Your frustration seems to be more about the messenger than about the message.

@stoked3

And just to set the record straight, I've spent many a post condemning bjelks, calling him out on his name calling, and just pointing out his wildly contradictory statements and stances, and blasting his nonsense. If you followed this site regularly, you would be well aware of it.

Yep and in the past i have called Bjelks out on the Racist comments, would you like me to cal him out on calling someone a loser; happy to do it, no place for that. Did you call out Kamps comments-I have not seen that yet. or have you called out anyone who name cals at bjelks -have not seen you do that as well

At the same time you guys bag Bjelks all the time for having a diff opinion. its totally fine to have a different opinion. Honestly, his opinions are aimed at making our team better-someone like myself who believes we have more talented players in our pool than those that are always being called in. You guys tend to believe the guys we keep calling are fine-

if you would like me to rephrase and say Kamps comment was not name calling but rather a crude or harsh response, fine. But we can agree telling someone to F-off doesn't lend itself to fun banter on a soccer forumn.

You should also reread my post-I someone what agree-if you don't support the US get lost, BUT BUT my other point was you could be supporting them by not wanting to win against bad competition which will lend itself to us doing the same things that got us eliminated from the WC.

Being open to others opinions is what we should strive for-not if you don't agree with me F-off.

Back on task.

I will not actually pull for Canada. But a lose to Canada, I can see a benefit. Mainly pressure on Berhalter, Mexico hung three on it but he was ok with it because it was part of ‘The Process'. So if we lose to Canada and Berhalter is happy with his ‘Process' let him. I want a coach that never is ok with losing.

I firmly believe GB is not the right man for the job. And I can double down and also say Zardes should be nowhere near this roster. Ten years go by, what will Zardes be remembered for? Scoring with his face. To say Zardes hasn't benefited from GB's role is a bit revionist. Fans and professionals agree GB selections are not the best. Alexi Lalas even mentions gb selections.

But I want USA to do great in Qatar. Until GB selects better players that most likely will not happen. And I hate to say it but the sooner he is gone the better the program will be.

The Canada game is going to be tough and butt ugly. This isn't the historic walk over. They have a quality counter attack and they'll be sky high geeked up at home.

I think this is going to look like 1988 US ball...manage a tight game...stalemate away and win at home and move on.

Yeah, we all want beautiful soccer right this minute...but we're not there yet. This game is going to have no bearing on who we are or how'll we'll look in a year and half to two years.

But the pitch forks and torches will be lit guaranteed after this one...

I agree. This is a character game...style does not matter so long as we get a result. Is our squad tough enough physically and mentally to get it done?

Ideally each individual should be under the microscope to see if they are up to the challenge. But after the dust has settled, will our manager be realistic about who is ready and who is not? So far I believe he has not, but only time will tell.

I really want to see Sargent start over Zardes, this is a good time to find out if Sargent is mature enough to start for us in meaningful games. Personally I think he is ready and has proven it with his play in Germany this season. lets hope the coach sees it that way too.

Canada has made 1 WC in its history and hasn't advanced to the Hex since 1998, the year the Hex started. It would be hugely problematic if we have to bunker in and/or GB plays for a point.

Even though it would be a complete travesty if Sargent is on the bench, that's what I'm expecting.

I'd like to see Sargent too, but GB already greased the rails for Zardes to start by saying Sargent picked up an ankle knock...boo hiss...cuz Zardes rarely finishes and I think we'll try to go right over the top of their CBs.

I hear you, but they always play us tough. We have always had a nasty habit of playing to the level of the opponent. They are a better side than in the past and, quite frankly, our psyche still has not recovered from missing out on the WC last go around.
