This guy has turned San Jose around. If he can do this with San Jose he might be a good shout out for a future USMNT manager. San Jose is really fun to watch again,

Yeah he's got the earthquakes doing well, I was going to watch them vs the galaxy tonight but I'm binge watching on some Ancient Aliens episodes right now.

I'd like to see it with the US. Balls to the wall pressing and winning one v ones. We still aren't quite there in possession against better teams..press harass and get up the field. We have some great athletes in the pool
Almeyda has really put his stamp on the team. Tommy Thompson back from the dead...Vako was a beast last night..Wondo rejuvenated...Yueill is getting a lot of good minutes too.

Yea It's been totally amazing to see how much impact a coach can have... this team hasn't really added anything, still has the same cheap owners but now they have a coach who has a plan and can inspire performances out of players and look how they have responded, quite amazing.

Yeah, we're all completely stoked about Almeyda in SJ.
He's the real deal...cred and presence to spare. He has players that basically tuned out in the previous couple seasons buying in to his retro man marking system. It took a while for the players to execute his system. But it really is about his collective system...he can interchange players and positions and still get results without a lot of of high level talent...I mean Tommy at RB...seems ridiculous but it keeps working.
The problem is he is so good as a coach, I fear he won't be around for a third season with the Quakes.
All the hardcore in SJ are begging for the owners and FO to basically get him what he wants and make him as happy as possible....This is a very rare opportunity for the South Bay soccer community.
