You don't think the end of this season is too soon? I mean it all depends on how he does with Dortmund but who knows? I never would've thought Dest would play for Barca so soon in his career. The Nats are definitely trending up.

You might be right. But Liverpool might be losing George Wijnaldum and will need a replacement. Klopp is viewed as a father figure by from what I read from player's perspectives. They also want a player to tap into the US market, so I can see it happening. I think they can also get Reyna more cheaply now then waiting a year. And it isn't surprising in hindsight that Dest is playing for Barca because of the presence of Koeman, who is trying to get Wijnaldum from Liverpool. If Reyna stayed at Dortmund with Sancho, Erland, Reus and others that wouldn't be bad either. Dortmund is pretty exciting to watch.

I don't think Reyna is going to leave BvB until after the 2022 WC. Not because there isn't going to be interest in him, but because BvB isn't going to want to sell him on the cheap.
I expect BvB to do the same thing w/ Reyna that they did with Pulisic. They'll end up resign him to an improved contract as soon as he turns 18, and will then sell him for a good sum after the WC.

Reyna would never be a direct replacement for Wiji.... he would more likely be fighting for a spot among the front three.... not sure he is ready for that yet.
